25.01.2022 Important Centre update : Currently we have no water at the centre. We have contacted the council and the whole of Crestmead is without water at this time, they can’t give an estimated time frame due to not knowing what the issue at this time. 25.01.2022 Play and Learn Crestmead currently has limited places available in all rooms. We invite you to call the centre and book a tour of our amazing centre . We have highly qualified educators that will work with you to develop a plan that will support and nurture your child and meet their educational and developmental milestones. We offer a Government approved Kindergarten Program that is delivered by a qualified Bachelor trained Childhood Teacher. All meals are prepared onsite by our chef and Nappies are also provided. 24.01.2022 Morning Tea Is a great time for children to sit down together and explore a variety of different fruits and vegetables. As you can see today the chef has added something a little different with flower shaped carrots for our Kindy children.

21.01.2022 Today we were apart of the National Simultaneous Storytime with our Junior Kindy and Kindy children . The children really enjoyed listening to " Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas", a great funny book we all enjoyed .

18.01.2022 Today the children enjoyed celebrating Diwali. Educators and children participated in a variety of different activities and really enjoyed learning about this Festival of Lights. Dancing and singing was a favourite for all.

17.01.2022 Monday the 6th of July was our 6 month Birthday Celebration here at Crestmead Play and Learn. The children had a great time dancing, singing and music and games. We also had cupcakes to celebrate. A big thank you to the families who bought in items for the staff to share for Morning Tea and also a big thank you to the Staff for my flowers. You are a great team to work with.

15.01.2022 Dear Families, On Monday the 8th of June we will be changing computer software system and moving over to a new company. The current software system we are using in our services, Qikkids has merged with another software company and we have needed to find a new company that best suits us here at Play and Learn. Our new software system will be with a company called Kidsoft. Both systems connect and share information with Centrelink but in very different ways. We ask that you be ...patient with us as we learn and get familiar with the new software system. Some changes for families. - Your statement will look different; the statement will show the same information as your current one but in a different layout. - Sign in on the tablets will now be called ICheck-In and when you first login next week you will need your mobile to set up your new pin. If you have any questions regarding ICheck-In, reading your statements or any other information regarding Kidsoft please do not hesitate to email or call the service. 10.01.2022 Wednesday 2nd September 2020 is Early Childhood Educator Day. We know it has been a challenging year, so this years celebrations will be even more meaningful. Its a chance for services, families and children to say thank you on a very personal level. We will be celebrating the day with a Hawaiian Dress up Day. We also have coloured flowers available for you to write a message of support to our Educators for us to post on our " Wall of Appreciation".

10.01.2022 Last Week was a very busy week for us here at Play and Learn Crestmead. We celebrated Book week all week and also had the Dentist visit us on Thursday also. The children had a great week exploring our surrounding while reading lots of different stories.

08.01.2022 Today at Crestmead was our First Educator Day. Educators and children dressed up to Celebrate the day by wearing Hawaiian Dress. The day was filled with games, laughter lots of presents from our amazing families and even pizza delivered by one family for the staff lunch. We have an amazing team of Educators here at Play and Learn Crestmead and we all would like to thank our families for trusting us to care and shape your childrens minds. Thanks for making today so special.

03.01.2022 This Week the Pre Prep children have been very busy planting our garden. They invited the other children to join them in the fun of planting our Fruits and Vegetables. We talked about the importance of watering our plants everyday as well as looking after them and making sure we leave them in the soil to grow. We also set up our Worm Farm and daily will bring our scraps to help the worms grow. #caringforourenviroment.

02.01.2022 A huge thank you to Battery World Browns Plains for there kind donations of Mobile Phones and Torches for the children. As you can see the children have really enjoyed adding them into our Home Corner Area.

02.01.2022 Today in Jnr Kindy 2 we have started learning about our "5 Senses" as an extention from a previous spontaneous activity. Miss Cyndi had made smelly bottles for the children to take turns in using their noses to smell the different scents and work out what it was.

01.01.2022 Our Kindy children have really enjoyed having more new friends joining us everyday. They have been excited to learn about Letters ,explore the room and using different textures to create some very interesting play. Our garden is coming along very nicely so please come and have a look next time when you collect your children.

When you sign in for the first time on this system a generated pin will be sent to your mobile phone and you will then be prompted to move through and create you own pin....
