14.01.2022 It's important we all continue to practice physical distancing at community sport to help stop the spread of infection. Change pre and post-match protocols so... players and officials do not touch each other. When watching or attending a game or training, keep a distance of 1.5 metres between yourself and others. Restrict access to change room areas to players, officials and essential staff. There's no room for complacency. For more information about how to stop the spread of infection, visit https://bit.ly/2XcJ7Xq

06.01.2022 It’s pleasing to be able to welcome so many new members to our club we hope you enjoy both the social and sporting aspects of your membership. Unfortunately most of our new members joined us after the date for specifying the number of teams our club would be entering in pennant competitions this season. As a result we cannot accommodate all members in our pennant teams. We approached Metro Bowls but not surprisingly cannot enter an extra team at this late stage, though the...y have said that if a team withdraws from pennant competition it’s possible we can fill the vacancy. In the meantime selectors will do their best to expose all members to pennant competition as regularly as possible. Players will have to be rotated through the bottom two teams on Saturdays, with preference given to members who cannot play on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Members not chosen for pennant play any given Saturday will be formed into teams to play against each other in uniform - to maintain their form and their involvement in the match day experience. Hopefully this will be especially beneficial to those members newer to our sport.
