14.01.2022 #Retweet @playgroupnsw: This is a fun activity for children to get involved in planting seedlings and teaching them about where our fauna comes from as well as being resourceful and recycling materials! Instructions: Mist the empty shells with a spray bottle. Draw a face with a black marker on one side of the eggshell.... Then, using a small spoon, they can fill each one with pre-moistened potting or seed-starting soil. Two or three seeds in each shell according to directions, and then mist soil with water. Put the eggs shells back into an egg carton and put in a warm sunny place.
