25.01.2022 Even though The Playhouse Theatre is dark for the time being, we wanted to take this opportunity in Volunteers Week to acknowledge all of our fabulous volunteers. However, we want you to know that without you this beautiful theatre wouldn't be the same. ... Stay safe till we see you again x

25.01.2022 The cast and crew of Keeping Up Appearances are hugely disappointed that we are unable to complete the final week of our season. We fully understand that the interests of public health must come first, but at the same time we are left with a sense of loss. We are encouraged by comments such as the following from our patrons:... "All the best to you all at this difficult time. We love the Playhouse Theatre so much and are really sad for the local productions that will be affected like this over the next few months, even though it's absolutely the right thing to do." We would like to thank the theatre going public for their tremendous support for our season, for all of us this is a labour of love and we really appreciate your patronage, laughter and support during what is a difficult time for us all. We look forward to seeing you all on the other side

19.01.2022 Did you know it's a tradition for the cast of every show in the Playhouse Theatre to paint a 'Brick' backstage?
