25.01.2022 Dear PlayLink Families, In line with the current recommendation to practise social distancing and avoid non essential organised gatherings, we have made the sad decision to stop running playgroup for now. We know that Playgroup is a big part of the week for many (certainly is one of my weekly highlights!) and a chance for parents to catch up and our children to play together.... We hope that we can all keep in touch and keep encouraging one another from afar! I have made a closed Facebook group for us. If you search for "PlayLink Families 2020" you should be able to see it and request to join. It's not quite the same as getting together but hopefully will be a way to keep in contact, check in with each other and share at home play ideas for the kids!! 25.01.2022 This week at playgroup we had a care package for parents to support them on their journey. PANDA (perinatal anxiety and depression) week is coming up and we wanted to encourage our families. We arranged a care package with a few mindfulness activities (one included chocolate, yum!) and some information about contacts if parents would like to reach out. 24.01.2022 Thursday's are PlayLink morning yay! Lovely to see some familiar faces today and some new ones too. We had a beautiful morning of play and chats. Thanks to our leader Linda for the book and craft activity based around "Where is the green sheep?" Its a favourite for many families

22.01.2022 Leader Ree read us another favourite book this morning, The Hungry Catapillar, and did a great butterfly craft with us. A new toy arrived! A wobbel board. It was so lovely to watch the children experimenting and having fun with it, I'm sure it will be well loved. Thank you for a beautiful morning PlayLink families

11.01.2022 These much loved boxes have been on countless imaginary adventures this year...they've been transformed into trains, boats on the ocean, baby cots, hospital beds.... I just love the imagination and creativity that boxes inspire

11.01.2022 T E R M 4 Welcome back to our last term of 2020. It was lovely to see you all this morning and welcome a new family to the group. Thank you to Leader Jemma for making the wonderful slime and playdough for this morning, they were lots of fun!

09.01.2022 Wow! It was special to walk in and see this paper chain up in Shed19 this morning! People from PlayLink, Girls Brigade, the hOPe SHOP and Churches of Christ Gladstone have all attached a paper loop to build this beautiful chain as a visual reminder of our connectedness, at Shed19 For those that haven't yet added a link...We'll have some out for you to add to the chain next week

09.01.2022 One of my favourite things about playgroup is the love, support and encouragement that is shared between friends as we journey through parenting little ones together We love celebrating at PlayLink! And today was a double celebration... Wishing a very Happy Birthday to our lovely leader Jemma And I was so blessed to receive this gorgeous hamper as I await the arrival of my baby. 06.01.2022 Today we had our last session of the year, a wet and messy themed Christmas celebration! Thank you for a wonderful year PlayLink families. We know it hasn't been an easy year, it has certainly come with plenty of challenges... One thing's for sure though, 2020 has made us all the more grateful for our beautiful group of families who encourage and support each other each week, be it in person or from afar! Thank you to everyone that's been a part of PlayLink this year We hop...e you have a wonderful Christmas break everyone.
