03.02.2022 Now this is what we call a transformation with serious play value! From an unused dark corner to a vibrant, small but jam-packed kindy play space at Holy Rosary Catholic School. Thanks for your hard work @earthwormdesigns and @tomohernia! Swipe to see before. - #playground #natureplay #playspace

19.01.2022 Absolutely delighted to announce that the Cradle Mountain Visitors Centre was recently recognised in the national AILA awards under the Tourism category with @cumulus_studio! A big thanks to everyone who were involved in making this project a NATIONAL AWARD WINNER The jury said: The Cradle Mountain Visitors Centre provides an outstanding visitor arrival experience to one of Tasmania’s most valued natural wilderness destinations, and an impressive gateway to the state’s Wilderness World Heritage Area. The project interprets the narrative of the site through a bold landscape design and sensitive plantings of slow-growing alpine vegetation. []

13.01.2022 It’s been a big week for the Playstreet team! On Monday we left our digs of 4 years to a brighter and bigger space that will allow for a more collaborative working environment, not to mention a comfy, sunny window couch! We’re all boxes and half re-potted plants at the moment but we’re so excited about being in this space! You can find us at 92 Argyle St nipaluna Hobart - pop in, we’d love to see you!... #newoffice #excitedaboutthetoilet #iykyk

24.12.2021 This morning Miri gave a presentation (online) at the Alaska Design Forum on ‘The Role of Play’. Amongst other topics, she spoke of Playstreet’s process of designing play spaces, the importance of meaningful consultation from the very outset of projects and the integration of that consultation process into detailed design elements. Some of the feedback from listeners were It’s all in the details. How active listening translates to actionable integration through the design p...rocess and the process they’ve developed has a lovely thoroughness, and flexibility to show kids that they are in the final design. Thank you to those who listened in and thanks to @alaskadesignforum for inviting Miriam to speak, it was a fantastic opportunity! - #play #alaskadesignforum #lecture
