11.01.2022 One of the most enjoyable elements of Play Therapy is that the child can use the whole session to PLAY. Yes that's right, they don't have to pack up. For me, it gives me time to reflect and process what has been demonstrated within the session. Kids love the fact that they don't need to clean up! #playtherapywithjodie

10.01.2022 I started offering tele-therapy sessions this week via zoom. I worked with a 3 year old and an 8 year old in very different settings. We drew pictures, played with sticks, play farms and even played a board game. I'm excited to see where this takes the future of Play Therapy....especially in rural and remote settings. 10.01.2022 There are a lot of mixed emotions within children at this time. Returning to school, back into routines, separating anxiety and of course Covid-19. It's important to acknowledge what they are feeling and that they are loved.

08.01.2022 I have made the heart breaking decision to put my Play Therapy service on hold for a few weeks. As you can imagine, this has been an extremely hard decision to make especially when my passion is to support through Play. Children will be on alert and anxieties will be high so trying to keep routines is important. If you or your family need help during this time, please do not hesitate to call me. ...
