24.01.2022 Great news we have a date for a Picnic/get together for playgroup. Please join us on Saturday 12th December at St James Pakenham. More details to follow.

23.01.2022 Please join us tomorrow morning for some fun at Playgroup. 9.30am till 11.30am. We have a story and craft all about trains. We look forward to seeing you all in the morning. Please stay home if you feel unwell or waiting on a covid test, please wait until you receive a negative result. Thank you for your understanding.

22.01.2022 As you can imagine we have all been watching and waiting for the restrictions to be eased. Unfortunately Playgroup will be be unable to go back this year. But we have made the decision to have a Picnic for all our Playgroup families in December. We will update you all via here and phone as soon as we have set a date and have all the details organised. I am so excited that we will be able to see you all again face to face. I have been waiting ever so patiently to share this news with you all and to see you all again. 22.01.2022 Thank you everyone for joining us for playgroup this morning. I always look forward to spending Friday mornings with you all. If anyone has any requests for morning tea recipes please feel free to send us a message. I am always open to new and exciting ideas. Have a lovely week a head. 19.01.2022 Playtime @St James is run on Fridays 9.30am till 11.15am. We have free play and craft activities from 9.30am till 10.15am. 10.15am till 10.30am we have story time and music. From 10.30am will have fruit time. We ask that each family please bring a fruit snack for their own family. We are also a nut free playgroup. After fruit time we have home made cake, slice or biscuits for everyone to enjoy. After morning tea is free play till pack up time at 11.10am. Our program is also ...fexlible. We work with the children and go with what is best for them on the day. Our playgroup is open to all family's with children aged birth through to 5 years of age. The cost is $20 per term per family. 13.01.2022 To all our amazing playgroup family we would like to wish you all a very Happy Father's day. Although this is not at all how we thought we would celebrate this very special day, we can still celebrate our Father's, grandfathers, uncles, mums and special friends by remembering all the amazing things they have done for us. Until we meet again please take care and enjoy the sunshine. I miss you all so much. I am praying for an end to all of this craziness and already planning the future ahead. 11.01.2022 Good evening everyone. This is just a friendly reminder that we are having a Christmas eve celebration at St James Anglican Church Pakenham. 5pm Christmas eve. Please feel free to come dressed as a character from the nativity story. Hope to see you there. We are planing for an outside even but just we may have to move it inside make sure you bring your masks. Thank you.

07.01.2022 Well the day we have been waiting for is upon us. Playgroup is back yay. We can not wait to see you all again. Friday 5th of February 9.30-11.15. Unfortunately last night's news was not what we wanted to hear, Playgroup is still happening. There will be some changes as to the new regulations around Playgroup but we will still have lots of fun. ... Please bring a fruit snack for your family only. We can no longer have shared fruit plates. We will still have some yummy baked goods. But only the person who is in the kitchen can serve you the food. No more sharing tongs. We will still be serving tea and coffee for you to enjoy. Please wear your mask at all times when inside the building. Masks do not need to be worn outside unless you can not social distance, then masks need to be worn. Please where possible maintain social distance. This will be tough for us all as it has been so long since we have seen each other but we need to make sure we can still all enjoy Playgroup together. Most importantly if you, your child/ren, a family member or a close contract are unwell even if it is just a running nose we ask that you please stay home until the illness has passed. Please also stay home if you are awaiting a coivd test. This includes the whole family. Also if you have been to any of the recent hot spots please get a covid test and stay home until you receive a negative test. 05.01.2022 Thank you all for joining us all today for playgroup. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces. We are going to make some changes with our finishing time starting next week. We know how hard it can be to get to playgroup by 9.30. Then once 11.15am roles around it feels like you have missed out. We have decided to start Pack up at 11.30am now. This gives you all a little bit of extra time to chat, enjoy some morning tea and a warm drink. It will also give the children some extra time to play and have fun. So our new times are 9.30am - 11.30am (pack up. We hope you all have a wonderful week ahead.

04.01.2022 Hey there everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Just letting you all know Playgroup will be returning in February. Date to be finalised very soon. Yay finally. At this stage we have decided to go back to just Fridays session. But as we grow again we will open up our Tuesday Playgroup in time. Playgroup may look and run a little differently this year due to Covid rules but will still be filled with all of those familiar smiles. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
