What a hectic week here at @playwithhair.com.au - we stayed open late to squeeze in a client who couldn't make it during regular hours due to work, and she was an absolute joy to work with. Tim found her the perfect new human hair wig after trying on a couple, and she left glowing, wearing her gorgeous new locks! It's times like this that remind us exactly why we do this. Without the amazing women in my life, I would not be where I am today - From being raised by a fierce and amazing Mum, to having strong female presences in my life, and even my crazy little sister who is cute and creative as heck, I don't think life would be the same without any of them around! PlaywithHair's employees have all been amazing women who have been patient, caring and kind to work with --- And my clients!! Of course, it's mostl...y women, and seeing the strength and resilience so many of my customers have as they battle not only hairloss, but cancer and immune diseases, it's incredible. Slowly but surely, women are receiveing the recognition I think everyone knows they truly deserve, and until equality is reached properly, it's important to celebrate every achievment and accomplishment in every single field where a woman is striving to do her best... Some people might not want to agree, but women are often treated with contempt, generalised and somehow assumed to be lesser because they are women... But to be honest, I think they are stronger, and maybe that is what scares some guys and strengthens their resolve to try keep them all down. Not me... I say THANKS, ladies. I don't care if you were born a woman, if you identify AS a woman that's who you are to me. And if you only identify sometimes, perform as one, dress as one - GREAT! Being a woman, or behaving like a female, or acting like a girl is not a put down... It's a compliment, because women are tough. So thank you, spectacular women in my life... You are fighters, you are beautiful, you are amazing!!
