24.01.2022 This Sunday, 20th September, members of Plentylife will be participating in International Justice Mission's Freedom Sunday as we gather online at 10am for a worship service. Members of Zest, one of our missional communities with a heart for justice, will be sharing with us about their involvement in justice and mercy ministry, particularly with IJM. We'll be continuing our focus on justice all of next week by letting you know about some organisations you can support that work to help free people from slavery. 23.01.2022 Plentylife have some fantastic opportunities over the next few weeks to gather together online for worship and sharing. This coming Sunday, July 19th, we have our worship service at 10am, during which we will explore how the story of Abraham and Isaac points us to Jesus as well as sharing in communion. Then that same evening at 7pm we will launch Alpha Online @ Plentylife with an information session.... 20.01.2022 Tomorrow Plentylife is gathering at the HGC Kinder from 10am to worship as a whole church and continue our series on the book of Philippians. We'll be meeting under the alcove outside, so bring along your chairs and picnic blankets :) We'll also be celebrating our birthday over coffee and fudge, available free from 930am and throughout the morning (with thanks to Katrina from For Fudge Sake) Looking forward to a wonderful, and delicious, time together!

18.01.2022 Members of Plentylife have set aside this coming Saturday, 19th September, as a day for prayer. There will be two Zoom gatherings, 9:30am-11am and 2pm-3pm, and we hope that this will be a time of encouragement and refreshing as we join together and pray. Please let us know if you need the Plentylife Zoom link. If you can't join is at these times, we would encourage you to spend some time with God during your day, perhaps while out for exercise or as a family over dinner.

10.01.2022 Over our MC weekends well be providing a variety of different reflections that will bring us encouragement from the Scriptures. Wed encourage you to listen to them in your families, or within your missional communities, and discuss what it could look like to live out the teaching and insights they contain. 10.01.2022 As you are aware, Stay at Home restrictions are now in place in metropolitan Melbourne for the next six weeks, which includes our municipality. Further details on what this includes can be found here: https://www.vic.gov.au/coronavirus-covid-19-restrictions-vi. While we had been looking forward to reconnecting physically, we are obviously no longer able to do so. Missional communities will instead be meeting in other ways, either over Zoom or by connecting over the phone. Th...is is no doubt difficult news for many and there may well be a sense of grief over the roll-back. We are here for you. Please do get in touch with any of our leaders if you'd find it helpful to process this change and receive some prayer. 'Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.' Ephesians 3:20-21.

Saturday 27th June: Join us for our Annual Trivia Night on Zoom! The details can be found in the attached event. Sunday Worship Service: Join us at 10am on Sunday the 28th of June as we look at how the Old Testament story of Melchizedek points us towards Jesus. ... Craig will bring us a reflection from Exodus 3:1-15, we will share in communion, and there will also be an opportunity for us to respond to what we believe God is saying to us. 05.01.2022 Holy Week, which extends from today, Palm Sunday, until Easter, next Sunday, is a time of great significance as we follow Jesus through the days leading up to His trial, crucifixion and triumphant resurrection. You're invited to participate in this week through a number of special Plentylife gatherings... FRIDAY MORNING 10am - we'll hold a special service at the HGC Kinder involving a number of art-based contemplative stations, Scripture, music, communion and teaching. ... FRIDAY EVENING 8pm - we'll host ONLINE (on our Zoom account) a liturgical Good Friday service as we enter into the sense of loss and waiting of those first disciples through prayer and reflection. SUNDAY MORNING 10am - we'll celebrate Jesus's resurrection at with music, prayers and teaching, and engage with an uplifting all-age story called "The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross". And afterwards we'll have our traditional Easter Egg hunt! Please message if you’d like to know more, and may you know God’s leading and peace with you throughout this very special week.
