10.01.2022 VERY LONG BUT IMPORTANT POST WARNING... please read... Hello to all of my wonderful clients! Today’s post is a very bitter-sweet one - difficult to write actually! I’ve been operating Essence Massage Ringwood for several years now, and I’ve loved getting to know you all and helping you with your many aches and pains. I’ve honest enjoyed the friendships and lovely interactions I’ve had with you all, just as much as the clinical aspects of your treatments, so it is with a very ...heavy heart that I write this today! I say this is bitter-sweet, because although I’m announcing this change and I’m so so sorry to be disappointing my current clients, I’m also excited about the future of my practice and look forward to many years of meeting new clients ahead. Next week, my husband and I will move to to a new home (and home massage clinic), right next to the Westfield Plenty Valley Shopping Center on the Mill Park / South Morang border. We are so excited, but so sad to be leaving our home of Ringwood and especially my brilliant and very special clients! The timing of this move is actually a big surprise for us - we honestly thought it would take a few months from now, to find and secure a property in the new area... and then we were offered the first house we made enquires on! For that (the very short notice), I am so sorry! As you know, I’ve only just opened again in Ringwood, after so many months unable to work... and my Ringwood availabilities between now and when I move have now all been booked! I’ll enjoy seeing those if you who have been lucky enough to secure an appointment in the next 7 days and again - I’m so sorry to those of you who have missed out! For EVERY ONE OF MY CURRENT CLIENTS, some of which I’ve already talked to directly, I do hope that you’ll still be able to make the trip over to my new home clinic once it’s open (estimated 2 weeks from now). When the hot cups are placed on your skin, the air inside cup cools and creates a vacuum that draws the skin and muscle upward into the cup. It’s definitely not painful and your skin might turn red as the blood vessels respond to the change in pressure. Cupping therapy simply increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. That increased blood flow can help to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and reduce inflammation.
