23.01.2022 Magnesium I knew magnesium was important, and I knew that most people are deficient in it, but this solidified why I take my supplements daily! According to Doctor Carolyn Dean, author of The Miracle of Magnesium, the following 22 conditions are triggered by or linked to magnesium deficiency:...Continue reading

19.01.2022 DO I REALLY NEED BLOOD SUGAR BALANCE? Short answer: YES! _ Blood sugar, or glucose, is our main source of energy. It dictates how hungry and energetic we feel. Blood sugar is produced when we break down any carbohydratefrom quinoa to cake. The key idea with respect to blood sugar is balance. We feel best and lose fat when our blood sugar is balanced: not too high, not too low. _ Our pancreas creates a hormone called insulin that is released into the bloodstream to regulate... blood sugar. The normal range for blood sugar is between 80 mg/ml and 120 mg/ml. Insulin is like a small ferryboat: It picks up sugar, then transfers it to our bloodstream and into our cells. This regulates and maintains blood sugar levels within the normal range. When we eat sugar (or other carbohydrate-rich foods that are quickly processed into sugar), the pancreas goes into overdrive to produce the insulin necessary for all the new sugar to be used or stored. This insulin surge tells our body that plenty of energy is available, and that it should stop burning fat and start storing it. _ Low blood sugar (reactive hypoglycemia) occurs when the insulin surge causes too much sugar to be transported out of our blood. This can leave us feeling tired, hungry, weak, shaky, lightheaded, and anxious. (This is the crash many people experience an hour or so after sugary/carbohydrate rich snacks or in between meals when your blood sugar levels or unbalanced and you have issues with insulin sensitivity/resistance). As a result, we crave more sugar and carbohydrates, thinking they will pick us back up. In reality, they start the cycle all over again. And, in the process, our body stores more fat. High blood sugar (hyperglycemia) occurs when the insulin is unable to transport enough sugar out of our blood. This has its own set of side effects like fatigue, brain fog, mood changes and sleep issues. _ We all eat imperfectly and put more processed sugary foods in our diets than we should. What if there was something to help balance our blood sugar and that could help avoid the highs and lows and side effects of unbalanced sugars? What if you could kick your soda habit, sugar habit or just crave better foods? _ It's your lucky day! Slim will do just that. It has for me...and hundreds of people I know! Is it time for YOU to give it a try? #healthychoices #Slim #bloodsugarbalance #healthyandhappy #yourhealthmatters #whatifthiscouldchangeeverything See more

17.01.2022 THIS IS WHY THERE IS SUCH AN INCREASE IN GASTROINTESTINAL DISORDERS and why PLEXUS IS SO EFFECTIVE #mindblown It seems nearly everyone has gastrointestinal issues these days. Crohn’s, IBS, colitis, celiac, and dozens of other digestive disorders have made an industry out of sugar free, gluten free, and dairy free products. So why is it that those with digestive issues can’t often fully fix them and have to follow a very strict diet or suffer the consequences? GUT FLORA...Continue reading

13.01.2022 It's still mind blowing to me when I look at old pictures of myself and compare to how I am now. I was full of inflammation and carried around alot of extra weight everywhere including in my face. I was constantly getting sick with colds/viruses, plagued with GI issues(IBS, GERD), reproductive disorders (PCOS and Endometriosis), migraines (later diagnosed with Vestibular Migraines),Hashimoto's, joint aches and depression/anxiety.... I was so unhappy and uncomfortable in my own skin although I tried my best not to show how I really felt. I wanted to sleep constantly and looking in mirror made me want to cry- often times I did. I finally decided I had enough and I needed to make changes in order to be happy with myself and be a better person for everyone around me. I started eating better which helped to lose some weight but I still didn't feel all that great. I was then introduced to Plexus. I said "NO" for months because I thought it was just a gimmick and a waste of money. Finally I gave in and I am so happy I did. For the first time in years I don't struggle with health issues, I no longer take prescription medications or Ibuprofen/Tylenol three times a day (everyday), I have more energy and when I look in the mirror I smile because l am proud of how far I've come and proud of who I am. I still have more work to do and am not where I want to be but I can honestly say - the girl on the right is SO much happier than the girl on the left!
