25.01.2022 Horsham ALDI completed. Plinius was involved with the new entrance and shop extension, while having to also work around operating hours for access as well as a short construction time of 1 week.

23.01.2022 Essendon FC Stage 2 Over the past 3 months we have been installing the Structural Steel on the expansion at the Hangar in Tullamarine. The project consisted of approx 70 tonne of steel being installed with, in some cases a 220t crane due to the limited site access.

23.01.2022 During December and January, Plinius completed the new dealerships for BMW, Honda, Subaru and Isuzu Utes in Wendouree. Great job from the team.

22.01.2022 Plinius involved in another major infrastructure project in Ballarat. Yesterday saw the grand opening of the new Ballarat Train Station Carpark. Great job from everyone involved. #Ballarat

22.01.2022 JUDGES AWARD Recently we were successful in winning 1 of 4 awards with the Australian Steel Institute for our work on Mars Stadium. Wed like to thank Kingfield Galvanising for their help during the application process and especially throughout the project.... 20.01.2022 Ballarat Fernery: Recently we commenced the sub framing for the new Fernery at the botanical garden. Consisting of 16tonne all pre painted and standing at 16m high the steel will support timber cladding in a gothic style.

18.01.2022 ALDI GISBORNE: The team at Plinius recently just finished this 50tonne new Aldi store in Gisborne.

18.01.2022 Guys Loading a trailer headed for the Saleyards in Rockhampton earlier this year.

18.01.2022 Target Ballarat. This project saw Plinius install a brand new Plant deck on top of Target Ballarat. Working during the night, this project involved blocking the Midland Hwy (Doveton St) for 8hrs, coordinating road closures with VicRoads, Ballarat Council and Power disconnection with Powercor. With 4 months of planning, the whole project went without a hitch, with the road reopening at 6.50am.

17.01.2022 Altonas New 24hr Police Station. The team at Plinius from our in house Shop detailing to installation team helped the builder achieve a 9 month building time from start to finish. Built over 3 levels and consisting of 130 tonne of steel the new station will open in the next few weeks.

17.01.2022 New multipurpose building for Siena P.S in Lucas. Completed just in time for Xmas.

16.01.2022 Check out Merrifield West P.S in Melbournes north. Some great photos of the 2 Learning Neighbourhood building we completed back in March and April which are apart of the 2021 VSBA packages.

15.01.2022 Nightingale 2.0 Fairfield Plinius worked closely with the builder to provide 50 tonnes of Side mounted Balustrades, planter boxes and feature fins to this 6 storey building in Melbourne inner east. We also worked closely with the architect to help them achieve their goal with their feature entry gate, polished brasses lettering and stain glass lamp.

15.01.2022 Banyule Netball Courts, at Macleod in Melbourne nouthern suburbs. This new roof structure provides a clear span of 34m and is 80m in length. Plinius provided the builder a Design and Construct structure with no cross bracing and designed to prevent birds from perching underneath. All the steel has been Galavised for long term weather protection.

13.01.2022 SURF COAST STADIUM - Torquay. Over the past 4 months we have completed the Structural Steel for the new upgrade at Torquay. Consisting of 170 tonne of steel and a 16 tonne lift we installed the 2 new court areas with steel that was pre painted off site.

13.01.2022 Plinius finished its 2nd new Victorian Tech school in Berwick last month.

13.01.2022 Recently we completed a new Service Station in Epsom Bendigo. We worked closely with the Builder and Developer to help fast track the engineering design, by providing a Design and Construct option at planning stage.

12.01.2022 Heathmont College: This brand new Gymnasium located in Melbournes East is apart of this years VSBA school upgrade rollout.

11.01.2022 2020 will see the opening of the new Lucas Primary School. Here at Plinius we were the successful contractor for the structural steel package to 5 new buildings comprising of 180 tonne of steel.

11.01.2022 VSBA Thoroughbred P.S Our recently completed Learning Neighbourhood building at Clyde in Melbournes South East suburbs. This is the seventh building we have complete within the current school package.

10.01.2022 Truganina South East P.S. Plinius recently completed the construction of the 2 Learning Neighbourhood buildings at the new 4 building school. With the help of CBW rigging. Each building went up in under 2 weeks.

10.01.2022 Echuca Twin Rivers P.S Over the past 2 months we have completed 3 new buildings at Twin Rivers P.S including a new Gym, Music building and additional classrooms. Not only has it been a great project to be involved in, the guys have been happy with the blue skys in winter.

09.01.2022 New development in Creswick Rd Completed to start the new year

08.01.2022 BUNNINGS TRARALGON Plinius has just completed the new canopy extension at Bunnings Traralgon. With the project awarded to us in July. Plinius completed the shop drawings, fabrication, HD galvanising and installation in just 4 weeks. A great effort by the whole team.

07.01.2022 After 18 months of Staged Construction. Plinius has finished its 3rd new Victorian Tech School in Geelong. Included was 150 tonne of steel and a striking Window structure which comes alive with the coloured glass. Great effort from the whole team.

06.01.2022 We are up and running in 2019. As we look back at our largest job of 2018. The new Ballarat Saleyards. Approx 10,000 posts and 40km of fencing material supplied and installed. A great job from our project team and all our staff.

06.01.2022 Plinius Exports. Last week we shipped our first two 40ft containers of steel overseas for a client from Brisbane. The steel is heading to Indonesia via Singapore to be mounted to #Shapeshift’s mould cam product. We can’t wait to see the end product.

06.01.2022 NEW SCHOOL: Plinius have recently finished the structural steel at St Joseph PS in Werribee. The first building consists of 2 levels with admin and classroom facilities, which will be open to new students in 2021.

06.01.2022 Dimboola Library. Recently we completed the new library building with all the structural steel having a Hot dipped Galvanised finish. Working with the builder our draftsmen visited site to measure all existing building conditions and measuring all new footing heights.

05.01.2022 The 1st Building at Coltman Plaza finished in just 1 week. Great Job from all the guys

04.01.2022 Plinius currently has positions available in our growing team for immediate start. We have a number of position available in structural steel and fencing installation.

03.01.2022 Some nice new replacement fire staircases at Ballarat and Clarendon College. Our project team worked closely with the Builder and School to minimise impact by replacing the existing staircase in 4 days onsite.

02.01.2022 CRC Meltons new Gymnasium. 140tonne of steel with 36m clear spans.

02.01.2022 BIG LIFTS. Construction of the new external wall at Gordon TAFE Geelong.

01.01.2022 Swan Hill Bunnings. Shop Drawn, Fabricated, Galvanised and Installed over 6 weeks. This short construction programme was met with our ability to have control of our in house draftsman. Which helped the builder achieve their required outcome. Fantastic effort from all involved.

01.01.2022 Structural steel works completed at the new Ballarat Hospice Care Office. Guys have done a great job with this unique build.

01.01.2022 July saw the Grand Opening of the Ballarat Sports and Events Centre. Plinius are proud to again provide the Structural Steel to another large scale Ballarat project. The project consisted on 420 tonne of Steel with the majority arriving onsite with a pre-finished 3 coat paint system.
