25.01.2022 Happy Saturday!! Here are some fun photos of the water play on Wednesday!! Junior kindy, Pre Kindy and Kindy rooms had an amazing time running through the sprinkler with their friends, helping each other and offering encouragement to those who were unsure. This was an amazing way to build friendships and create memories!!

Gatton Village Markets will showcase the best of what our beautiful Valley has to offer. Held on the first Sunday of every month, the markets will host growers, makers and creators. Fine produce, plants, bakery items, boutique stalls, and the creative works of local artists and artisans. So throw on a hat, sunscreen and sun safe clothing and head on down to Gatton this weekend
25.01.2022 Last but certainly not least is Toddlers and some of their younger friends from the Nursery singing a Queen classic of We will rock you! It certainly isn’t a Christmas classic but boy did they all enjoy dancing along to it and remembering the moves they have been learning.
23.01.2022 Today the school children enjoyed their last day of Vacation Care with a bike and scooter day. We closed off the car park so the children had space to ride safely. Mr Greg discussed the importance of wearing helmets while riding. With that in mind they popped on their helmets, applied sunscreen and away they went. They finished off the day with some yummy treats to celebrate such a fun and amazing vacation care program.
22.01.2022 Yesterday the Toddlers explored with ice outside in the sunshine!! They discovered this provocation when they went outside after morning tea. They used their gross motor skills to dig and play in the ice, picking it up and tasting it as they played. This experience was provided by the educators for the children to enjoy as they wanted to. While participating in this activity the children were developing their imaginations, creativity, and problem solving skills.
20.01.2022 Congratulations Mr Greg for winning the best decorated room. The challenge was put out for the room with the most Christmas Spirit...Well done! Enjoy your coffee x

19.01.2022 Today the Toddlers invited the Junior Kindy children to join them to experience sensory play that was an extension on their ice play on Tuesday!! Today it was ice with shaving cream, ladles and spatulas to manipulate it. All of the children dove in with their hands to play with the combined textures. They developed their communication skills, creativity and built relationships along the way. The educators even learnt something today when they noticed the ice melted much slower today with the addition of the shaving cream.

14.01.2022 The children were super excited this morning when they saw a grasshopper hanging around on the forte. Miss Kristy put her big girl pants on and climbed up the forte to grab the grasshopper and move it to a safer part of the yard. The children followed Miss Kristy to the garden, squealing when it jumped onto the plant.

11.01.2022 Today in the junior kindy room the children were excited to see some new additions to the sand tray! Miss Tina and Miss Pepper had added some flowers and jars! They raced over after group time and started to use the jars to scoop the sand up. Before long they were taking the flowers out of the box in the middle and adding them to the sand. Hamish and Olivia noticed the extra flowers and pine cones on the table near the tray and began to add them to the tray also. Some of the ...children placed the flowers into the jars of sand and picked up the different flowers to smell them. Miss Pepper then asked the children if they would like to use some of the flowers to paint with. They all exclaimed yes and headed off to the table to wait. We used the flowers to dip into the pink, purple and white paint and then dab onto the paper. The educators used this opportunity to extend in the children’s interest this week in the sand tray and then further by using the flowers to paint with!! The children were able to express their individual creativity and use their imaginations to drive these activities. See more
