19.01.2022 Big day collecting rubbish in islands in the Whitsundays with Ocean Crusaders, am joining them for the week. Pikkie below, yes the boat is part of the rubbish. There was a Catamaran also on the Beach but unfortunately chain saw broke down before the whole lot was removed .

18.01.2022 I went out with a Meet-up group 4 wheel driving to Bribie Island today, absolutely beautiful Island but guess what I found: Yes, even a toilet brush - bbbut I did rescue a Turtle!!!

13.01.2022 Thank you Les Barkley and Catherine for your help cleaning up Clontarf beach near Pelican Park. Usual suspects, polystyrene, plastic bottle tops, straws, bait packets, rubber bands & plastic rope. So much small broken bits of plastic I had to put it in a sieve.

13.01.2022 Have you ever been walking around and found rubbish, car tyres dumped, abandoned trolleys etc. and would like to get it cleaned up. Did you know about Snap, Se...nd, Solve as it is a wonderful app. I used it twice whilst walking this morning to report a Woolworth's trolley thrown into the creek at the front of the Harvey Norman complex, Everton park also a tyre that had also been dumped. the problem is solved within days. 08.01.2022 Hi, not exactly Plogging but this will save large items going to landfill, I am getting a new Kitchen and after that Bathroom but knew the kitchen and appliances still had some life in them so I got it recycled and will be used again probably for a rental or weekender. Very Happy Update on Kitchen I posted a couple of weeks ago, well contacted The Renovators Barn, Salisbury, Brisbane https://www.therenovatorsbarn.com.au/ and they removed the whole kitchen including applian...ces, Cooktop, range hood & oven etc. so it has now gone to a new home, I am so pleased as could not see it going to landfill. If you are or know of anyone getting a new kitchen, laundry or bathroom contact the above or similar companies in your area, it will also save the cost of removal, they also cleaned up the kitchen mess extremely well prior to leaving. 03.01.2022 Very happy with how little rubbish I collected walking for 1 hour at Stafford, Brisbane. Is there anyone in Brisbane who can see a lot of litter in parks etc and need a clean up please let me know as we can get a group together, I know it is going to get worse now that the relaxations are coming into place and more people are out and about.
