25.01.2022 $25,000 HomeBuilder Grant Extended. The Commissioner of State Revenue has provided an extension of an additional 3 months to the construction commencement requirement. This means that all applicants for the HomeBuilder Grant in Victoria have 6 months from the signing of the eligible HomeBuilder contract, to commence construction. 23.01.2022 The Wetlands here on Dairymans Way, Bonshaw. The community can explore and enjoy the views with the pathway looping around the wetlands - all connected to the existing neighbourhood footpaths. This lovely environment has park seats, grassed areas, mulched areas and includes a great variety of native vegetation. We are very excited to have this completed and see the plant life establishing well in the environment. Something you may not know about the Wetlands is that it will capture and clean the local storm-water, this engineered system mimics a natural filtration cycle and cleans the water as it travels through the ponds. This process of filtration helps to protect the surrounding ecosystem.

20.01.2022 WOW 2019 and a week in already! It was one fantastic year in 2018 for us and the ever growing community has transformed our streets into a special neighbourhood. 18.01.2022 SETTLERS STAGE TITLES All 41 lots within this stage have been lodged at the titles office, so now the count down begins until the titles are registered. It is generally suggested that it will take 15 business days between plan lodgement and registration, but that depends on the number of plans already lodged etc at the Titles Office. 04.01.2022 YOUNG FAMILIES - Seeking early learning/kindergarten education The Bonshaw Early Learning Centre opened it’s doors officially in August 2018 to support the rapidly growing community. Now located at the new building, 234 Morgan Street they will soon be having their 1st year Anniversary. It has been a great addition for the Bonshaw area offering two Maternal Health Nurse rooms ran by Ballarat Council to support young families along with 3 & 4 year old kindergarten education ma...naged by ECKA Today we would like to introduce you to Nicole & Kylie, together they bring over 30 years of experience in education and are a wealth of knowledge for the centre. They both run the day to day of the kindergarten rooms which has almost 50 students currently within the 3 & 4 year old kinder groups but there is still room for more children. They also highlighted the points below: - You can apply to enrol your child for either 3 or 4 year old Kindergarten as soon as January 1st in the year your child turns 2! - With the rapid community growth in the area it is important to think ahead for your child’s early learning - The new building is opposite MR Power Park which is about 18ha of parkland reserve Should you have any questions or would like to walk through the new kindergarten facility contact Nicole or Kylie at [email protected] or 5340 0091.

03.01.2022 Settlers Stage Construction Complete We are very excited to say the construction is complete for the NEW Settlers Stage, with the asphalt & line marking recently finished and also passing the Council inspection. With over half of this stage is sold or under offer we can’t wait for the future homes to begin construction soon in this stage and the neighbourhood begin to take shape. This isn’t the only news here at Ploughmans Arms, there are many homes under construction i...n our existing streets and a number of people have recently moved into their beautiful homes as well. Did you know we only release a small percentage for investment purposes of which have already sold, that means the majority of homes are owner occupied here at Ploughmans. With almost 60 households now being lived in and at least another 54 currently under construction, it is easy to say our streets are transforming into the special neighbourhood and community that we always hoped and planned for. 01.01.2022 HomeBuilder Grant online applications now open. Online applications are now open for the Australian Government’s $25,000 HomeBuilder Grant. Applications must be lodged by no later than 31 December 2020. All applicants for the HomeBuilder Grant in Victoria now have 6 months to commence construction from when the eligible HomeBuilder contract is signed.... You can lodge your application in a multi-step process with the initial lodgement being after an eligible HomeBuilder contract has been entered into. Once construction has commenced and the payment eligibility requirement milestones have been met, any additional supporting documentation must be lodged via the online portal.
