25.01.2022 This is probably what the Puppy Love Rescue dogs are singing :-)

23.01.2022 A great way to help our struggling wildlife - make a water station! There will be any number of places you can put this in your suburb.

19.01.2022 It is with great sadness I convey the news of the passing of Roxy Moloney, one of our greatest saves at Puppy Love Rescue. Roxy came into rescue with her litter at the age of about 4 months. They had already passed through 2 other rescues and were without doubt the most traumatized litter any of us in rescue had ever come across. There were calls from far and wide to have the litter euthanized as many believed they would never be able to function in society and be happy. This... litter piled up on each other like pancakes, such was their fear. All found loving, caring homes with families willing to continue their therapy that was started at Puppy Love Rescue. Roxy was our most challenging pup and decided she wanted Lizzie Moloney to be her mumma - and she chose wisely. Roxy came out of that fearful shell and lived a happy and content 12 years with Lizz and another former Puppy Love Rescue pup, Spud. Our hearts are heavy with Roxy’s passing and we ask that you keep her family in your hearts and thoughts today. Sleep well now Roxy girl. You were loved beyond measure

14.01.2022 Our country is in crisis, our lands are burning. The death toll of both humans and non humans rise daily and all seems hopeless, but we are far from hopeless. Yes, this is heartbreaking, but now is a time for action. We are much stronger than people know. We’ll be posting all sorts of actions you can take to help our animals out, from leaving dishes of water out, to helping fill feed stations, to making materials for our wildlife carers to use in their quest to save and treat our injured wildlife. Take heart our friends, we are stronger than these fires! https://youtu.be/-fLAL5CyHkg

13.01.2022 We get asked a lot about first aid kits for dogs - so here you go https://www.total-dog-1st-aid.com.au/shop

12.01.2022 For all that adopt

08.01.2022 Anyone else experience this?

08.01.2022 In Loving memory of little Cubby. Cubby’s heart broken family have let us know that this gorgeous young man earned his wings last Saturday. Cubby came to PLR in 2012 as a young, energetic young boy who’s fur was so seal-like He had such a zest for life and was just playful and happy. He was fostered by his eventual forever family who realised, after a failed meet and greet, that Cubby had already chosen to live with them and had fallen in love with them. I mean, just look ...at those ears! Like you had any chance of not falling in love with him!!!!! The whole Puppy Love Rescue family extend their love and condolences to Peter and the family. Thank you for your love of this gorgeous boy, and for never giving up, even when life became difficult. Cubby you will be dreadfully missed. Sleep well young man and safe travels to rainbow bridge

07.01.2022 Another birthday wish, this time to our sweetheart Narla! Over 3 years ago Narla came to us as a starved puppy who teetered on death but thankfully today she is one stunning lady who is loved beyond measure (and has never gone hungry since!). She is part of a larger pack and has many playmates - her favourite being our birthday boy yesterday George! Happy 4th Birthday Narla!

06.01.2022 A very happy 4th Birthday to Great Dane cross George, the puppy who came to stay 'overnight' because the pound was flooding, and never quite left!

04.01.2022 For our English staffy lovers, here is a sneak peek of 5 year old Cheryl who is in care with our friends at Tiki Animal Rescue and will be listed for adoption any day now. What a lady! And she’s fantastic with horses, too.

01.01.2022 Please help us help this little fella. Share the bejingers out of this post and ask your friends to do the same. A dog at 10 months should never have a broken spirit! He’s only a baby https://www.facebook.com/1000089320972//2265146333793081/
