22.01.2022 In this video Richard from Plumbdog is called out to a property for a burst water pipe. He quickly worked out that the leaking pipe was a reticulation pipe which was live even when the retic controller was turned off meaning the master solenoid valve had failed. Problem being that the main retic isolation valve, master solenoid, and all station solenoids were hidden. Using a specialist little gadget (retic solenoid finder) Richard was quickly able to track down the location of solenoids minimising digging and mess. From there Richard was able to make repairs to fix the problem.

13.01.2022 In this video Richard is called out to a property to replace the hot water system as a straight swap over, however once on site Richard noticed that the current system was in an illegal position. Since the installation many years ago an addition to the property has been added which means that the hot water system now only has one openable side. Hot water systems require two openable external sides in order for the combustable gases which contain deadly carbon monoxide to be able to safely escape into the atmosphere. Therefore Richard had to install the replacement hot water system in a new location. Luckily he found a suitable location not too far away and so fitted the new system there and extended the pipes accordingly. Richard shows us a couple of other measurements to ensure the new location is legal.
