24.01.2022 Oh No!! Viewer discretion advised. The toilet bowl cleaner has struck again. We consistently receive phone calls for block toilets- The common cause is the clip on toilet bowl cleaner become lodged into the outlet bowl.

20.01.2022 Have you had a bit of a whoopsie moment at home? One of our clients recently had a round broken counter top vanity basin. We have been able to supply a new tap and vanity basin to match the exisiting basin.

19.01.2022 Feeling Deja Vu! Yesterday and this morning we have replaced 2 electric storage hot water services with new Aquamax units. Both the old units were faulty.

19.01.2022 A few photo's from works completed last week. Job: Kew east, blocked stormwater drain- cause fencing post through the drain. Job: Healesville, leaking bath mixer, caused a large amount of water damage. Mixer tap was replaced, via cutting a hole in the plaster wall.

17.01.2022 Looking at purchasing a new fridge which requires water? We can install a new pipe from existing pipework for your new fridge. We commonly install the pipes in the cupboards or in a suitable location close to the fridge.

16.01.2022 We have recently been replacing/upgrading old gal water and gas pipes. Gal pipes react and corrode when they are buried in the ground, this can cause leaks. With gas pipes commonly this is found when plumbers perform pressure tests on the pipe or if your gas usage/ bill increases. Gal water pipes corrode internally which restricts the flow and discolours the water. Job 1: New plastic water pipes from the water meter to all the copper pipes under the floor. ( due to the ground being very rocky we have installed the pipe in a conduit) Job 2: Replace the old gal gasline from the gas meter to under the house and connect to the existing gas appliances. 13.01.2022 Things have recently been changing at Plumbing By Tim. We have sold the truck to an interstate plumbing business. (Bye Ketut) I'm now using the family 4wd- hello Maxie. I have recently received full time employment, as a result we are now only offering small plumbing jobs and pre planned jobs on weekends/after hours. 13.01.2022 Best part of the job! Looking back and seeing the new unit heating up for the first time! A quick hot water service changeover late today. Yesterday we looked at the faulty unit, we found a failed controller, the clients have deciding to replace the unit after our advice and costings.

07.01.2022 Yesterday we recieved a phone call from a client, who had an old hot water service with a ruptured cylinder. Our awesome suppliers opened the plumbing store today (sunday) so we could pick up a new hot water unit. Now the clients have a new aquamax 390 hot water service installed ready to provide them lots of hot water.

06.01.2022 We have recently been completing a few different laundry renovations. The new style for laundrys is to install the washing machine/dryer underneath the benchtop and have a drop in bowl sink with a flixmixer tap. Hope this post gives you some ideas for your new laundry renovation! Tim

04.01.2022 A few more bathroom refurbishment we have recently completed. These works involved changing over old existing toilets to newer moden toilet suites.

03.01.2022 Check this out! This would have be the oldest hot water service we have replaced. A rheem hot water unit dated 11/75. In this recent job, I replace this old faulting hot water service, the most cost viable solution was to install a new 135L gas hot water service on the outside of the house. Any followers still have one of these units?

02.01.2022 We just want to say thanks to all our clients for their patience and understanding over the last 3 weeks. Kasey, Charlie and myself went on a long overdue holiday. A thanks also goes to a fellow plumber Ryan who completed all our emergency works. I'm back at work tomorrow- ready for all the fun and challenges ahead. Tim

01.01.2022 It's been a busy few day's repairing pipes at Plumbing By Tim. - Tempoary repair on a pin hole in a gal water pipe. - Large gas leak on an old gal gas pipe- replaced in copper pipe. - Unblock stormwater pipe and fix broken pipe. - Replacement/alteration of stormwater pipes for the construction of a rock wall.
