21.01.2022 If you can spare even $1 to help bring my beautiful friend Sarah Clark home, please do! We’ve contributed $250 Sarah was born and raised in the Dandenong’s (Melbourne outer east) and went to high school with our Steph. She is part of us Melbourne.... This is to help support her whilst pretty much stranded in Chile but most importantly to get her a flight home and pay the quarantine required at the moment. Sarah flew into Chile in Feb 2020 as an exchange student, she only spent 1 week on campus at the university and then Santiago went into a full 7-day lockdown, with Sarah trapped in a small apartment 21 hours a day. She was allowed one X three hour "outing" for food and essentials etc but it required government approval beforehand. 7.5 months later she is still stranded in Chile with 4 flights cancelled already! To her credit though, she has continued her studies throughout the whole lockdown year, despite how crazy and isolated she has been. Our Australian government really has abandoned her, refusing to pay her Ausstudy allowance (which she was approved for before she left); denied early access of super nor given any sort of finical support from Australia, her home. She isn’t able to work in Chile because of lockdown but most importantly, she doesn't have a working visa, only a student visa. Her living situation... Sarah had to leave her first apartment after lockdown because it was too expensive!! Chile has a very strict government and she is now living there illegally; without a current visa. She has applied for a working visa, which is taking a long time to be approved. Please help us raise some money to bring her home! ANY donation will be a amazing! Whether it be $1 or $50 - anything to help her survive and then bring her home!.. Thank you

04.01.2022 It’s been one year, but we remember this day clearly. Thinking of all those still recovering from these tragic fires, especially through the covid pandemic. What a year this has been. Thankful for our amazing CFA, SES and volunteers.
