04.01.2022 *** COVID UPDATE *** Greater Western Baseball Association Following on from yesterday's update, Baseball NSW has sent a message out later this morning to note the following: State Baseball League No games until scheduled resumption in January 2021. Sydney Cup {Worboys/Balfour/Shipley} ... No playoffs tomorrow, competition completed short with five round standings determining the finishing positions. Junior Associations All activities to be suspended until January 2021. Unfortunately, this will mean cancellation of our U7s Gala Day and Rookies Cup Trials that were scheduled for tomorrow. The GWBA Medallions will be delivered to Clubs to distribute and later date will be determined for trials. Summer Development The Summer Development programs will be delayed until January 2021. Notification of those players selected is expected to be sent by email within 24 hours and posted on Facebook shortly after. NSW Women's League Suspended until January 2021 Australian Baseball League Fixture between the Sydney Blue Sox and Melbourne Aces has been abandoned to enable Melbourne players to make it back to Victoria before any domestic quarantine requirements are enforced. 01.01.2022 Alroy park update Unfortunately the fields have not drained as much as we would’ve like following the last couple weeks deluge. To ensure player safety and field maintenance, Alroy is closed tonight (Monday 2/11/20) and will be reassessed Tuesday (3/11/20) early evening.
