16.01.2022 Thanks for the healthy cravings ASN Fairfield Central Reposted from @asnfairfieldcentral Happy FRIDAY!Its FOODIE FRIDAY today and wed like to share with you all a HEALTHY CINNAMON DONUT FUDGE recipe you may like to try by our Manager @laura_ruffle Per serve is ONLY 151 calories! SAVE this one Including a secret ingredient ... chickpeas! Chickpeas are rich in Fibre , protein & contain so many key vitamins and minerals... so why not get them in via healthy fudge...? Enjoy! INGREDIENTS: 1 1/4 cups or 1 can of chickpeas (thoroughly rinsed and drained) 1/4 cup of cashew butter (60g) 2-3 tbs lite coconut cream (30g) 1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup 30g natvia /natural sweetener 1/3 cup of almond meal 1/2 cup oat flour (or more almond meal) 60g cinnamon donut protein ( I used @evolve_nutrition_ Vegan Protein) 1 tsp of vanilla extract 70g @vitawerx white protein chocolate 1tsp coconut oil Firstly thoroughly rinse your chickpeas for a good min to really get all the liquid off them. than let them sit in the strainer for a few mins before patting dry with paper towel. Blend in a processor with your cashew butter, coconut cream, maple, natvia & extract. once semi blitzed add in flour, protein , a pinch of salt and blend again until you have no chickpea lumps. fold through chopped chocolate pieces with a spatula . press into a lined loaf tin, or a silicone tin. Slightly wet your spatula if you need help to smooth the top over. Freeze for at least an hour, then cut in 12 bars or 24 bite size pieces and Enjoy! I find these keep better in the freezer and just take out 5 min before you want to eat them!
