23.01.2022 We love this about our colleagues at Donor Tissue Bank of Victoria! Without the gift of donation, we could not provide life improving grafts for our patients.

11.01.2022 This week our team shared their favorite national cuisine in celebration of our cultural diversity. We recognise we are all part of the Australian story.

11.01.2022 On Sunday 15th November, representatives from PlusLife attended the DonateLife Service of Remembrance on the City Beach Foreshore. The ceremony was a beautiful tribute with amazing individuals sharing their personal and brave stories in tribute to donors. PlusLife is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to attend this annual service to honor all organ and tissue donors.

10.01.2022 PlusLife is extremely grateful for the support we have received during 2020; and for the generous gift of donation made by our donors and donor families, which have enabled us to enhance the lives and wellbeing of graft recipients. From all of us at PlusLife, we wish you a joyful and happy Christmas and a fruitful New Year.

05.01.2022 Meet Nadine, a PlusLife Business Development Manager. I liaise with clinicians about allograft preferences and the efficiency of our system to ensure they achieve the best outcomes for their patients. It is my role to understand clinical needs and meet demand for safe, high-quality bone and tissue grafts donated in Australia.

04.01.2022 Wishing all Mothers a very happy day today.

02.01.2022 Today we remember all those who died defending the freedoms we enjoy today. Lest We Forget. We also thank the brave men and women in our Defence Forces for their service.

02.01.2022 Donated bone is very valuable for use for patients who may require a bone graft. This could be for bone tumors, spinal surgery, hip revisions and more. Bone grafts are often used in conjunction with prosthetic implants such as hip prostheses, plates and screws. Once implanted into the recipient, the bone graft does not grow, but can encourage the recipient’s own bone to grow into the graft to repair areas of lost bone. Use of tissue grafts such as tendons and ligaments are also common. It is not even necessary for the donor and recipient to be tissue matched as for the transplant of organs!
