05.01.2022 CLUB CHAMPS UPDATE FROM CEO ADAM WICKS READ MORE HERE https://bit.ly/3l5NNaV Over the last few weeks, we have been in constant communication with our Race... Director Partner Elite Energy Events, regarding the TNSW Club Championships scheduled for November 14th. Positively, the recent reduction in community transmission of COVID-19 has ensured that the Mid Coast Council remain supportive of the event being conducted in their region, pending the relevant stakeholders approval. Organising events in NSW is a difficult, complex and complicated task. At this point in time, we are still waiting on a response from the local police area command, who have ultimate control over the roads and the ability to conduct an event. Together with EE, we have agreed that a decision about the event must be made by next Friday 9 Oct 2020, or sooner if possible. We thank you for your patience, understanding and compassion in this situation, and please stay posted for further updates as we get them.

03.01.2022 + Throw back Friday ..... 2 yrs today since +Plus tackled the Abel Tasman Coastal Classic!

01.01.2022 A +Plus favourite!

01.01.2022 Hello all. We have been just ticking along and waiting for the most recent Public Health Order update. We have been inundated with emails and messages-way too m...any to come back to individually sorry. Things are positive. Thanks to the numerous people who have offered help. Adam Wicks from Triathlon NSW and Mark Thomas from Panthers Triathlon Club especially. We are moving ahead-still operating under the conditions of the public health order which is a maximum of 500 people in the venue-this includes everyone in the centre (volunteers, officials etc etc). A final call will me made over the next 7-10 days. We are crunching the numbers. Things are extremely tight. We have lost all sponsors for this years event (rather we couldn’t bring ourselves to ask anyone for money, due to the fact that all our sponsors were drastically affected thanks to our mate Rona). We are keeping our fingers crossed for a grant from Destination NSW and Stuart Ayres (a great supporter of our event for many years) to help us cover the venue hire cost of the Regatta centre. Make no mistake, if we pull this off it will be bare bones. There’s no towels or shirts, we can’t even guarantee a finisher medal (we will try hard for this). We will have to insist on no spectators on the Sunday and will have to look at our numbers for the Saturday event as obviously parents will need to bring the kids for the junior races. The bike course will be changed to try and cut costs with road closures. Thanks to everyone that has shown the faith and entered already. If not for you we wouldn’t be in a financial position to even consider it. We are hoping to deliver the 39th edition of Australia’s oldest triathlon. Keep training!
