19.01.2022 H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y Happy 5th Birthday to our gorgeous Pluto. This little man always delivers a happy smile and has such a big heart. He takes his job as Chief Tasting Officer very seriously, quality checking all treat bags. To celebrate, he is generously offering a free bag of his favourite Liver, Carrot & Ginger Thins with all order placed on this special day.... How do we know it's his favourite? Well, silly me left all the taster bags unattended in the stock room for a few minutes. The door is rarely open so Pluto decided it was the perfect time to explore the heavenly room. He looked very proud of himself when I caught him red pawed with the bag of Liver, Carrot & Ginger Thins ripped up on the floor, crumbs all over his snoot and a very big smile on his face!

11.01.2022 When you just want the treaties but have to pose first We are sorry for the recent silence. Our boy Pluto has had a really tough month but we are finally starting to see improvement. Pluto had a horrible fall at the beginning of the month and cut his leg down to the bone. We raced him to emergency where they bandaged the wound, determining his skin was far too thin to stitch or staple. After further testing, we found out the fall was caused by something called a syncope e...pisode - when not enough blood reaches the brain due to his heart condition. The stress of this was too much for his sick body and he took a turn for the worse. We are very greatful for the support and kindness we were shown during this time and feel so honoured to have such amazing people around us. We are thrilled to say that our superstar is doing well and back to his happy self!

07.01.2022 Phoenix needs our help! Recently the beautiful 1 year old greyhound, Phoenix, was with her parents travelling in the car. Sadly she was hurt when her parents tried to avoid a collision which caused their car's emergency brakes to activate. Phoenix, who was harnessed in the back of the car, was thrown from the seat and she hit the centre console. Unknown at the time, the impact of hitting the centre console has damaged her growth plate, causing her paw to begin turning out. Af...ter a visit to a specialist, Phoenix's parents decided that a second opinion was needed, concerned that the advice the were provided would not provide the best outcome for little Phoenix. Upon seeing another specialist it was deemed that surgery was necessary to correct her outward facing paw to bring it back into line. Phoenix has been suffering in pain and discomfort, struggling to weight bare on the damaged paw. Phoenix has a rough road ahead of her. This is not a quick and simple surgery, but instead a complex procedure where her bone will need to have a wedge cut out and a T-blade put in to straighten out the outward facing paw. Sadly Phoenix's parents have had a rough year with Shearna losing her job due to COVID cutbacks and Nathan unable to work due to being wheelchair bound after suffering a spinal injury 11 years ago and currently recovering from surgery to correct a tendon issue in his wrist. Pet insurance have also declined the claim, arguing that her policy did not cover bone issues. It's up to us to help out this beautiful girl have an amazing pain free life ahead of her. Dandelion&Ginseng Lemon Balm&Ginger We have sourced these organic dried tea leaves from a local Gold Coast tea grower. We are grateful for the support we have been shown over the last 2 years and like to do the same by supporting local. We cold brew the tea for over 12 hours to retain a greater amount of antioxidants. Through this brewing method we are able to bring out the tea's beautiful aroma and natural sweetness. Our tea biscuit trio makes the perfect night time snack. Tuck your pup in with the calming effects of chamomile, soothing touch of dandelion and medicinal qualities of lemon balm.
