23.01.2022 This morning our 2021 Reception students had their first transition visit. They had a great morning getting to know each other and becoming familiar with our College. We can’t wait for them all to start next year.

20.01.2022 Our Year 7 Geography students had a special guest in their class yesterday for NAIDOC week. Danielle our Aboriginal Community Education Officer spoke about her own heritage and showcased the achievements Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders who are doing some absolutely amazing things. #naidocweek #thumbsupthursday
19.01.2022 Our Year 9 STEM class has been constructing a model of a skyscraper equipped with a tuned mass damper and other materials. Using Excel, they have a microcontroller attached, so they can study and analyze different ‘earthquake intensities’ with the tuned mass damper. This was done by using different release levels of the pendulum to simulate different earthquake intensities and results were recorded on the spreadsheet. #STEMSaturday

04.01.2022 Future student leaders of the College attended the Student Representative Council (SRC) Forum today where they expressed their interest in being part of the SRC for 2021. Students prepared short speeches that were read to their peers, from this activity students voted on who they think will represent them best as student leaders in 2021. The interest in leadership at our College has grown over the past years as students voice has been heard and acted on. We are proud of the changes and initiatives by our SRC. #thumbsupthursday
03.01.2022 Public schools, preschools and children’s centres will reopen to all students on Monday 23 November. While OSHC is able to operate as usual, families should check with their OSHC service whether it will run a service on Monday. We look forward to having children back on Monday!
