We pride ourselves on our friendly customer service, product knowledge, and attention to detail. ... PMC carries a large range of high quality bikes & accessories. We specialise in custom built road bikes and stock Road, CX & Urban bikes from industry leading brands Scott, Cannondale, Pinarello and Ridley. Key Responsibilities WORKSHOP - Servicing and repairs on customer road, commuter and mountain bicycles - Bike builds for customer orders and shop floor - Servicing of hire bikes - Clean, organise, restock and maintain the workshop, storage and retail spaces - Attend up skill training sessions - Our workshop is fully equipped with all modern tools and equipment SHOP - Greet and serve all customers as they enter the store - Answer and respond to phone calls & online enquiries - Learn and use our Point of Sale System - Follow and understand store policies and procedures - Attend paid shop rides as rostered Skills and Qualifications The successful candidate will have; - A passion for the cycling industry - Experience with all facets of servicing, building and repairing bicycles. - Knowledge of Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo is necessary. Must be proficient with Di2, EPS, ETAP & Hydro. - Retail/Sales experience is desirable - An eye for detail, strong communication skills and a positive can do attitude - A commitment to working as a team to achieve targets. Port Melbourne Cycles is open 7 days per week (excluding public holidays). The successful candidate must be available to work a rotating roster (including weekends).
