18.01.2022 Penny recommends the graphic novel Bloom by Kevin Panetta. Now that high school is over, Ari wants to move to the big city with his ultra-hip band - if he can just convince his dad to let him quit their struggling bakery. But in the midst of interviewing candidates for his replacement, Ari meets Hector, and love begins to bloom. That is, if Ari doesn't ruin everything. This is a wonderful LGBT+ romance with a beautiful message of family, acceptance and love.

17.01.2022 Port Macquarie Library is creating a 2020 Photo Christmas Tree and we want to feature you! Take a picture of your little reader sharing a story or watching our storytime and email it to us so we can feature it in this year's Photo Christmas Tree in the storytime area! You don't have to live locally to be involved, we will share an image of our finished tree in December. Photos do not have to include faces if you would like to remain anonymous. Email your picture to [email protected] or send it in a facebook message. The tree will be on display throughout December and featured in a very special Christmassy event!

17.01.2022 Over the past few weeks we have been collecting Christmas Presents for Liberty House to bring some joy to children this Christmas. As expected, our community stepped up and we were inundated with gifts for children of all ages (and some for Mum too!). Santa was able to help us load up a boot-load of donated toys and gifts from you all, despite the rainy weather. Thank you!
