23.01.2022 A massive thank you to our generous audience tonight. You smashed it with $110 of donations. That means the grand total of $300 will go to Sancrox/Thrumster Rural Fire Brigade to assist them.

22.01.2022 Due to all the wonderful rain we are having, we will not be playing at the beach today. Go and jump in some puddles and dance in the rain! Weather permitting, we hope to be on the Town Green on Tuesday at 6.30 and we play at 12noon on Australia Day.

22.01.2022 Amy will be doing a live feed of the Last Post at 6am on ANZAC Day. Feel free to share if you know anyone wanting to hear it.

18.01.2022 A heartfelt thank you to our band members who sounded bugle calls all over the Hastings for this very different ANZAC Day for 2020. Ben Simon, Amy Corrigan, Kim Schnieder and Meg and Karyn Wilson played for their neighbourhoods under the #MusicForMateship initiative at 6am for #LightUpTheDawn On the hour, throughout the day in various locations, Ben, Amy and Kim honoured our fallen and service men and women. Ben sounded the Last Post and Rouse at Le Hamel House (RSL Aged Care... facility) and at the cenotaph, Amy did calls for Poziers Village (RSL Aged Care facility) and at the headland and Kim did a call a the Wauchope Cenotaph. 15.01.2022 Happy Australia Day! We had a great time playing on the Town Green today. Thank you to all who joined us to play.

14.01.2022 Woohoo! Tonight we have our first 'gig' in many months. A very casual way to dip our toes back in. See you there for a sneaky Gelato after dinner!

13.01.2022 One of our most popular selections from 2019's Concerts on the Avenue series was our Lion King medley, featuring Chief Musicians Rachel Sarracco and Shana Sullivan, and Musician 1st Class Danlie Cuenca. Let us know what YOU think!

09.01.2022 All your favs AND Christmas tunes! Come and get in the summer Christmas spirit... (weather permitting)

09.01.2022 The first of our Christmas gigs! Loads of fun, Santa hats and music by the beach. See you at the next one! Town green Tuesday nights.

09.01.2022 We have started rehearsals for 2020 and are looking for more players to join us.

07.01.2022 Exciting news that we can restart rehearsals again this week! (COVIDSafe policy in place) We are all looking forward to getting playing again so we can get out and about in the community and playing for you.

03.01.2022 A massive thank you to Pat Conaghan MP for our grant to buy new uniforms and percussion equipment through the Stronger Communities program. It all finally came together with all purchases finally arriving. Including percussion taking 9 months to arrive from overseas somewhere! #covid

03.01.2022 We continue to rehearse with a COVIDsafe plan. We have vacancies in our Monday evening 'KoolTones Concert Band' and limited vacancies in our 'Encore Pep Band' on Tuesday evenings. If you can't play at school at the moment, why not keep playing in your community band? Message us and we will guide you to the band which will suit best.... At present we are limited to 20 in our hall, which is why there are limited vacancies.

02.01.2022 It is always an honour to sound the bugles calls for our ANZAC services in Port Macquarie and I hope others participating in this very special duty will also do so with honour and pride. Even if you aren't playing an instrument, bring a candle to light up the dawn from the end of your driveway. Email [email protected] for registration to the free Zoom Tutorial on Saturday 18th April at 10am.
