09.01.2022 The last day of the Play Me, Im Yours installation as part of the @qldmusicfest I went to visit Lunar Ladyland - intending to sit and listen at a discrete dist...ance - instead I met Nico who played with the assistance of a custom made wooden bar to steady his hands. He had visited several of the pianos and was telling everyone about the project. 05.01.2022 It is absolutely heartbreaking but we have been told by some of the beautiful local residents in Shorncliffe that Olga was vandalized overnight. Her insides have been tampered with and her keys no longer play. We will send our team out today to assess the damage. So sad! UPDATE: Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. Sadly the damage cannot be repaired and Olga will be removed tomorrow. She was only due to stay on the pier for another week or so, her time just came early. There are still 19 more pianos out and about for your enjoyment so get out there and find them.
