19.01.2022 The kids asked for another challenge so here it is! I have no idea how to make this slower without making a video that goes for too long (not tech savvy at all!!) Here is the run down. ... You can use whatever you would like; marbles, pencils, coins, etc. I’ve used different size lego pieces- because if your kids are anything like mine, the pieces are bloody everywhere! The planted foot needs to stay on the ground in the same position while the other leg rotates in order to pick up the pieces with your toes. Great way to activate the brain to toe connection Great hip mobility exercise Enjoy!

Thousands of sharp spikes apply pressure to skin and muscles supporting restful sleep, relaxation, mental clarity and well-being. Relax your mind & body in 20 minutes. RRP $69 Great Christmas idea! 15.01.2022 LOWER BACK PAIN By far one of the most common complaints I hear, and if you don't have one, someone you know probably does. Of course, I couldn't possibly know if this post would benefit you unless you were standing in front of me, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that considering how a great deal of the population live and work, it will probably benefit you in some way! ... Our bodies adapt to our environment- which is amazing, so long as it doesn't include the same 4 movements every single day. Our lifestyles and workplaces contain a large amount of sitting- have you heard? sitting is the new smoking! We sit to rest & socialise, on the drive to work, we sit on the toilet, couch, dining table, desk, machine, and more SO....MUCH.....SITTING let me explain a little more as to why sitting so much, is so bad; As I have already said, our body adapts to our environment, it lays new tissue in areas that are heavily used to enable that area to become stronger, the only problem is, when the area is stuck in one shortened position that new tissue actually creates a great deal of restriction, and the inability of the tissues to slide on each other as intended. After years of sitting, those tissues don't have the ability to return to their normal length, therefore they pull down on the pelvis, creating a forward tilt. Because of our ability to adapt, we do not get up and walk around in this hinged, leaning over, seated position, instead, we curve our lower back enabling us to stand up straight- well kind of. This exaggerated arch in the lower back creates compression & pain. You may feel after sitting at work all day you need to stretch out your lower back, though this may feel beneficial, it is more a short term solution & will not fully help the problem, you will receive a whole lot more benefit through allowing the tissues at the front of the hip to stretch. Infact, for every hour you sit during the day you should spend a minute stretching to undo the damage done while sitting. Like I said in the beginning, this could be a contributing factor to your lower back pain, it is only one common assessment out of a whole body & lifetime worth of factors. Even so, it is still something that should be considered, and is one small step you can take to help yourself. So how many hours would you have to spend stretching at the end of the day? Some useful movements to come...
