25.01.2022 Fundraising opportunity for The Lost Plot From the 24th August 2020 to the 21st February 2021, you will be able to help raise money for The Lost Plot community garden through the Return and Earn reverse vending scheme. So please, when returning your recycling, please select the donate to The Lost Plot Community Garden option on the touch screen and allow us to benefit.... The local vending machines are at Woolworths Port Macquaire, Lake Cathie, Lake Innes Village and Hibbards Sports Club. This is a great opportunity to support your local community garden for free!
24.01.2022 Hi all... For those who attend our working bees on a Thursday or Saturday morning, the working bee times have now changed. Start and finish times for working bees are now, 8am till 11am. Feel free to attend anytime during those times.

Current and previous committee members were invited to take part in shaping the future of the garden. Thank you Peter Coe Consulting for facilitating the strategy day 5 years ago and today! 19.01.2022 Oh how good is it to be in the garden!Feeling the sun on your skin, watching birds eating bugs on the trees, and harvesting colourful, healthy and tasty food! What have you been harvesting in your garden? Did you see that worm on the second picture?it looks like a witchetty grub, but don't be fooled...it is not a worm you want to have in your garden, it eats the roots of your plants. If you find you cannot grow anything in your garden, this could be the reason.

18.01.2022 Hi all...Just a gentle reminder if you are attending the working bees at The Lost Plot Community Garden to maintain social distance as per NSW Health guidelines. And as of next week, 20th August, everyone should bring their own food for their morning tea as an extra safety measure until further notice. We can all enjoy the garden but we need to stay safe! Thank you!. :)
18.01.2022 There is always a lot of gardening happening at The Lost Plot!But there is the same amount of talking, eating, laughing, learning, sharing and washing up dishes There is a lot of yakon at the garden, come by to get some if you like to try it (Thursday and Saturday mornings at the working bee) It's a great snack, low GI but sweet and crunchy like an apple..but it's a tuber!intriguing!!!

11.01.2022 Members Renewal Day is on this Saturday 20 June at the garden. This year were planning a time between 12-3pm where members can drop in . Soup will be available and members can also renew their memberships for the next financial year or pay on line which is preferred .( those who have already paid since 31 March 2020 do not have to renew) Fees haven't changed: Single $20 Family $30 Concession (health care card, student card or pension card) $10... Organisation $100 Just make a deposit into our bank account (preferred), or bring some cash along..
