06.01.2022 Last year our team donated 70 Used Laptops + 1 Teacher in the Box to East Negros Academy -my Alma Mater. This is the first donation in the Island of Negros. Today is a revisit..... I was able to talk to one of the teachers who was in-Charged Miss Ivory Joy Punzalan and she shared her story... The activities in the box is more engaging and more appropriate for Grade V11 than the government issued textbooks Currently there are 5 TIB in the island. A Memorandum of Understanding will be issued to the school recipients in order the monitor the progress of the students using the TIB.

06.01.2022 Mission after the Medical/Dental mission. With fellow Rotarians & members of LGU, we visited Baslay, Talacdan in Cauayan, Negros Occidental. It is the home of around 150 Indigenous families whose basic wish is to own a Carabao to farm the land. There is no running water. They entertain their guest with their traditional dance and all organic foods......access to the community is through a rough winding road using 4 wheel drive.
