18.01.2022 The Peavey classic 30 and the Fender Blues Junior Amps have no standby switch to heat the tubes first prior to applying the full voltage to the tubes, this can cause premature aging of the tubes, especially the output tubes which can suffer cathode stripping. If you own a Valve Amp that has no standby switch it is a good idea to have the on / off switch changed to an Off / Standby / On Switch which will save the usable life of your tubes, the mod cost is $101.00,

12.01.2022 This hand built point to point wired Amp has a very versitile palate of sounds. Features: Four Channels - Clean, Crunch, Drive and High Overdrive, Dual Rectifiers, Half Power Switch 50W / 25W and Reverb. The clean channel is clear and warm and has a gain control as well as a volume so you can dial up totally clean sounds or slight breakup at any volume, EQ has Treble, Middle and Bass.... The Clean Channel also has a crunch switch which adds more gain, level and tone, all of which you can control individually via controls on the rear panel to give you switchable lead solo settings or crunch rhythm sounds. The Drive channel is also very versitile with its own Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle and Bass controls. It has a huge range of drive gain level and has a gain boost switch for soloing. This Amp is lovingly hand built by Peter with Point to point wiring, highest quality parts available, Switchcraft jacks and sockets throughout, CTS pots, Carling Switches, tube driven USA Accutronics Reverb Tank and Celestion Vintage 30 Speakers.

10.01.2022 The Sales of the Nessfield Bluesman Classic Amp are going well, the latest versions of this Amp are the best I have built yet, from the heavier duty chassis to the UK made Vox style tag board point to point panels, Mallory and Sprauge 716 copper lead capacitors. All pots and switch pots are CTS all resistors are Carbon composition, USA made high quality Power Transformers and Choke, Output and Reverb Transformers, all tube design with Dual rectifiers and half power output switch, there is a choice of Speakers - Celestion Vintage 30, Fane AXA12 Alnico, Celestion Blue Alnico and Celestion Creamback.

07.01.2022 The old saying goes "The dont make em like they used to" I restored this Amp back to life again, after it had been in a barn in the USA for 62 years and the sticker it had inside the cabinet showed the last time it was repaired was in 1948 by an unheard of company in the USA.

01.01.2022 I have modified a few of the Roland Cube Street Amps with a line output socket ( see picure below) to go to a mixing desk or any other type of amplifier, the Cubes internal speakers will still operate with the line output connected to the added rear socket, and the headphone socket will mute the internal speakers when headphones are used. Alternatively for those who dont use the Amp with heaphones, the headphone socket itself can be converted to a line output which will not mute the internal speakers when in use negating the need for the additional rear socket
