The training inducts men and women into the Royal Australian Navy enabling them to think for t...hemselves, work with each other and have the knowledge and necessary skills to conduct basic duties within the fleet and progress to a specialised career in the Navy. Self discipline and professionalism are the key attributes instilled within the recruits under training. Key components of the 11 week Recruit Training Course include high level physical training sessions, high ropes course, survival at sea, fire fighting, first aid training, life at sea exposure onboard MATV Sycamore and F88 Austeyr rifle qualification. 08.01.2022 I have a limited number of 1/700 scale Charles F Adams with HMAS options coming in. We have presold our first order. They are trying to get some more in around end of November. These DDG's were manufactured for retail in Australia. They will be $49.95 Plus Postage. A Generic 1/700 photo etch set (ralings, ladders etc) is also available at $12.95 each. There is a discount available of 10% for all serving and veteran sailors.... Once they are gone the manufacturer will not be releasing this kit again. We are still taking orders, ETA for first shipment within the next 7-10 days and around end November.
