24.01.2022 It's happening! It's happening! It's haaaappening!!! I might be a tad excited ... but the SHOP is going up on my website, finally, to make purchasing of not only my packages but also CANVA TEMPLATES and E-BOOKS easier!! A lot of love, excitement, and learning is going into this, but it means my site will be down for a while. Absolutely plan to have it up well before Monday morning (touch wood).

20.01.2022 Experiencing issues with your Microsoft programs today? Don't worry, it's not your computer or anything you've done! You might just have to put your feet up for a little while. According to the Warwick Daily News site, Microsoft have reported a major global outage, affecting Microsoft 365 applications for users in Australia and the United States.... They're working on it folks!

18.01.2022 How's your weekend so far? I'm waiting in Toowoomba for my son so decided to sit in a peaceful park and do some work. Well! No such thing as a quiet park in Toowoomba when spring hits! The parks and cafes are PACKED to the gills with people enjoying the he gorgeous weather ... So instead here I sit, enjoying the serenity of a friends verandah. Worse places to be!

14.01.2022 Feels like a sharing kinda day, so ... Here's a little sneaky peek at one of my simpler social media designs! Packs of these templates will soon be available for you to purchase (once I work out a few website kinks)!... And, as I announced on Monday, I now offer social media management in flat-fee packs and can create templates to suit your business!

13.01.2022 Do you ever have "Duh Epiphanies"? You know, where you go "I've been doing this for everyone else ... um... shouldn't I be doing it for myself too?" It's the curse of a virtual assistant - you're often so focussed on your clients that you neglect your own state of affairs. My neglect has been my social media.... I've proudly been "turning up" daily, but I was feeling uninspired by my design - it was incredibly basic, which is fine and can absolutely be effective ... but it wasn't me - I'm used to going a bit OTT. So, I took the time to focus on ME for a little while and had fun creating some very ME social media templates - when they make me smile, I know I've hit the mark. Don't get me wrong, the social media posts are (ultimately) supposed to appeal to followers ... but if you're not inspired by, and happy about, your own social media design - why should your followers be?

12.01.2022 This week is Mental Health Week - unsurprising that I'd mention this since most of you know it's an issue I am passionate about. Plus, you know, it'll be all through your news feeds. I'm not going to harp on ... much - I already talk about mental health a lot. What I am going to do is make a SIMPLE REQUEST:... Start conversations this week about mental health, particularly surrounding mental health in the workplace, your own story, and how people can support each other. If people don't know, how can they help? What is frequently missing is genuine, honest, and open discourse. Mental Health is not some tiny background issue, so we should be chatting about mental health like we chat about things like stubbing our toes. And don't forget - I care and I have a good ear no matter who you are. I am here for you (no, not as part of my services!) and you are never alone.

09.01.2022 Really, the ways a virtual admin can help you out appears to be endless. Today was something a bit new for me - a zoom session with a terrific client that was a "verbal brain dump" of ideas that I took down notes about and then sorted those thoughts into categories and the beginnings of a process! Officially adding "sounding board" to my resume! ;)

08.01.2022 Kids need to know how to use programs like Microsoft Word, but it's not unusual for parents to think, "Where would I even start?" Well, Microsoft for Kids is something I've thrown together to give you and you child confidence! In recent times, I began to see more and more of what my son was handing in at school and I realised that "computer skills at school" really is a concept still in relative infancy. There is only so much the kids are being taught or retaining and they still need a bit of guidance at home to get everything looking schmicko!
