11.01.2022 Pod's Last Words. I would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone that has dined and enjoyed Pod Food over the last eight years. With the end of our lease I have decided not to relocate the restaurant. Our wonderful location in the gardens of Pialligo is so picturesque and quaint, it is hard to replicate. We certainly will miss it. Our last day at Pod Food was Christmas Day and we had a fantastic last service.... I would like to thank all involved and everyone that supported us throughout our journey at Pod Food. I want to particularly thank my hard-working and loyal staff, my parents, friends and even friends of friends who have helped along the way. Also to our wonderful local industry here in Canberra, we have always felt supported and loved. And just as importantly to our customers, our wonderful local residents and those coming from all over Canberra and beyond. Thank you for continuing to enjoy Pod Food allowing us to spend eight great years at Pod. I love Pialligo and will always look upon the location with great adoration. It is now my intention to focus on my work at The Boat House and our new business Schmicnics. And to take the time to look at new opportunities in our inspired and passionate Canberra hospitality industry. Thanks for all your support. John.
