23.01.2022 Our newest team member Emma, reflects on her first week as a Podiatrist at the Podiatry & Orthotic Group. I have only been with the Podiatry & Orthotic Group since the 13th of January, but I have seen such a vast array of foot and ankle conditions during this time - I never imagined my first week would be so interesting! What I’ve seen so far:... Lateral Malleolus Fracture, 2nd Metatarsal displaced fracture, TaloCalcaneal Coalition, Ingrown Toenails, Plantar Fibromas, Forefoot Deformities (Bunions & Hammer toes), ulceration, Plantar Plate tear, Morton’s Neuroma, Warts, Ingrown Toenails requiring surgery and plenty of Plantar Fasciitis. What I’ve done so far: Fitted patients with CAM boots, sent and examined x-rays and ultrasounds, assisted in multiple Ingrown Toenail Surgeries and completed multiple post op surgery consultations, performed multiple shockwave therapies, video gait analysis, 3D foot scanning, orthotic prescriptions, correspondence with GPs, Diabetes foot assessments, general skin & nail care, strapping and prescribed stretching programs. I have really enjoyed being involved in the management of all these patients and I can’t wait to see more!

22.01.2022 From our family to yours, wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a safe New Year. May 2020 bring health and happiness. Thank you for your continued support
