20.01.2022 To all patients. The team at FARC would like to wish you all a happy and safe Easter. We will be closed Good Friday and all clinics will reopen on Tuesday the 18th of April.

19.01.2022 Congratulations to Podiatrists Stewart Williams and Elise Watson on completing their dry needling accreditation. This was a well run course conducted by Matt Cotchett in conjunction with Ultimate Podiatrist. Dry needling is an effective treatment option that can be used for a variety of foot and lower limb conditions. Our team of 5 podiatrists are all accredited to perform dry needling.

19.01.2022 We offer the latest evidence based therapy for that naggy heel pain. For more information or an appointment call 6327 1920

19.01.2022 Customized Asics made in a microwave. Who would like a pair?

15.01.2022 We have a terrific full or part time position for a Podiatrist based primarily at our clinic in Launceston. Our 7 clinics located throughout Tasmania are well equipped and we provide terrific administration support and CPD. For those that may be interested please contact Jason Cook on 0419136802 or email [email protected].

13.01.2022 Merry christmas and Happy New Year! All of our clinics and central booking office will close this coming Friday the 21st of December. We will reopen on Wednesday the 2nd of January.

13.01.2022 The Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite has been introduced to help break the 2 hour marathon and is arguably a performance enhancer. The potential change in loading rates could also lead to this shoe having a clinical application.

12.01.2022 Great performance by Russell Dykstra as Malvolio in the Twelfth Night at the Melbourne Theater Company. Glad we could be of assistance in helping him overcome his foot injury. An extra 3 shows have now been added finishing up in early January. Its amazing!

10.01.2022 We wish TIS cyclist and FARC patient Anya Louw a continued good recovery. Anya is about to recommence training ahead of schedule after recent successful ankle surgery.

07.01.2022 We wish Kelly Slater all the best in his recovery following yesterdays nasty surfing accident. Surgery to realign his 3rd and 4th metatarsals are in store along with an extended rehab time.

05.01.2022 Congratulations to our senior Podiatrist Angus Lennecke on his recent publication in the Foot journal. The Foot is an international peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of scientific approaches and medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. Anguss paper looked at heel pain. Angus consults at our Sandy Bay and Riverside clinics. Appointments can be made with him on 6327 1920.

03.01.2022 School holidays can also be a great time to clean out the cupboards and get things organised. All our clinics are collection point for Shoes for Planet Earth....a terrific organisation that provides sports hoes to those in need. We require used sports shoes that are clean and in decent condition (no holes!). Help those in need this Easter and donate your unused shoes. In past we have provided shoes to Hobart Street Soccer and the Father Bob Foundation. Our total shoes donated has reached 856. We are hoping to get to 1000 this Easter!
