23.01.2022 Covid 19 Pandemic Update. Stay Safe, Stay Home. After being in Stage 3 lockdown for the last few weeks, and its evidence in the decrease of Covid 19 cases, the stage 3 restrictions are being kept in place until a further review on May 11th 2020.... As per the Australian Podiatry Association, and the government advising health services are an essential service, we are currently continuing to provide podiatry seevices during these difficult times, with extra precautions being put in place to keep your loved ones and ourselves safe: 1)Current season Flu vaccination 2)Covid 19 risk assessment questionnaire prior to appointments and 3) PPE worn during appointments with clients who have a significant risk factor for infection. Foot Facts - The average person will walk around 128,000kms in a lifetime - that’s more than three times around the earth... - A quarter of all the body’s bones are in the feet - there are 52 bones in a pair of feet - The average child will take its first steps around 13-17 months - but between 10 and 18 months falls within the normal range - During the first year of a child’s life their feet grow rapidly, reaching almost half their adult size.
