23.01.2022 Covid-19 in 2020 is something that children and adults will remember for the rest of their lives. May we support our children to make sense, find growth and develop resilience in the midst of this chaos.

22.01.2022 With great disappointment, I would like to let you know that Blossom Care Psychology is no longer going to start the practice at Cannington due to unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, it is harder to get a council approval than previously expected. The good news is, I will join Three Waters Psychology Clinic to provide face-to-face sessions starting 18th May 2020. Blossom Care Psychology will continue to provide Telehealth sessions as needed and possibly creating more onl...ine content in future. :) Thank you for your support!

22.01.2022 This is so beautiful! you are not alone and you are definitely worth it. Be patient. Be kind to yourself like how you would to your best friend.

21.01.2022 Such a delicate balance of cultivating interests in children at the same time providing down time for kids to just play and be kids! Parents are very anxious about their parenting, about whether they are doing enough for their child. One of the side-effects of this is the over-scheduled child. Some children have their weeks filled up with activity after activity, along with homework or tutoring, so that every minute of their day is accounted for and under pressure. They are not allowed to be bored or to play, which is actually hugely important for childrens development

20.01.2022 Thanks Dr Leech for the opportunities to talk about how we can support kids and parents during this tricky time. I am truly honoured! :) As we adjust to the 'new normal', here are some tips and strategies to support our children during lockdown, instill "calmness" in difficult times and returning to schools. If your child presents with adjustment difficulties, signs of distress and anxiety, do not hesitate to seek help. We can work through this together.

13.01.2022 Autism awareness day... A dear friend of mine shared with me this amazing video. Individuals with ASD has amazing abilities and temperament. Perhaps they are so sensitive and gentle that other people’s emotions or their own emotions overwhelm them so much. I don’t want my friends to be sad, ... I just want others to treat me with decent amount of respect. Let their voices be heard near and far. The world is a better place, because of people’s neurodiversity. We are different but we are the same after all. We are amazing humans with the same needs for care and connection after all. I am thinking of all of you that I have met in the past, those that I am currently working with and the awesome people that I will be working with in future. Be strong and stay safe!

02.01.2022 When haters go after your looks and differences, it means they have nowhere left to go. And then you know youre winning! I have Aspergers syndrome and that me...ans Im sometimes a bit different from the norm. And - given the right circumstances - being different is a superpower. I'm not public about my diagnosis to "hide" behind it, but because I know many ignorant people still see it as an "illness", or something negative. And believe me, my diagnosis has limited me before. Before I started school striking I had no energy, no friends and I didnt speak to anyone. I just sat alone at home, with an eating disorder. All of that is gone now, since I have found a meaning, in a world that sometimes seems meaningless to so many people. #aspiepower #neurodiverse #npf
