22.01.2022 It's a beautiful day outside to be in the paddock but priorities are family (for the morning at least). Todays morning session, what the heck to plant that is going to be minimal maintenance in the paddock whilst I am having heart/lung surgery!

18.01.2022 i've been quiet for the past couple of months due to major heart and lung surgery, but tentatively getting back into the paddock with hubby helping move mulch yesterday... Slowly getting back to day to day life.

10.01.2022 As they say when one door closes, god opens a window... Or something like that. Just when I was starting to feel that I would never get on top of the "world of weeds" down at the paddock, amazing people at the Port Phillip and Westernport Catchment Management Authority offered a helping hand for a few days. It honestly couldn't have come at a better time and even though I received not so great news about my health today, I think this kindness reduced the impact! It's been the... best Christmas present a budding horticulturalist could ask for In 5 days the team managed to knock off more than what I could achieve in a month by myself. Now just to up keep it! 01.01.2022 The dog and I have wrapped up on the farm for 2020. It's been an interesting year, each season I learn a little bit more, stuff up something (which always ends up costing me in $ or time) and get a healthy dose of humble pie. This is the joy of agriculture and I love it... Most of the time . Wishing you all a happy, healthy and prosperous new year and may we all enjoy laughter and freedom.... Stay safe xx
