25.01.2022 Hi everyone! As tomorrow will be our last playgroup of the year, I think we should have a little celebration If youre coming along, please bring a plate of something to share for a Christmas Picnic at the Banksia

25.01.2022 Its warm and the tide will be on its way out when we meet tomorrow. Sounds like perfect dabbling weather to me! Cant wait to sit in the company of you wonderful people while our children frolick, and we all take a big breath.

25.01.2022 Hello All, I have a ladies Uniqlo khaki jacket here. It was flying around the other week when it was very windy. I think I few of us saved it at various times throughout the morning, but no one knows who owns it. Is it yours?

23.01.2022 Hows this for a balance between grubby fun and technology: tomorrow Im bringing an activity borrowed from the episode of Bing Bunny my kids were watching today, and thought we could have another (modified) crack at the one I borrowed from playschool a few weeks ago. I hope to see you all, new and old faces, in the morning!

23.01.2022 Hello! Tomorrow is my last day for playgroup, but never fear - the group will continue to run thank you to lovely Kate, who will take over. I think it would be nice to bring a plate tomorrow to. Share and celebrate the end of the year.... Were making biscuits. Bring what suits you! Looking forward to our final frolic with you all. Xx

22.01.2022 Todays weather forecast is quite exciting! Who will join me and mine for whatever play we can squeeze in before the rain arrives?

21.01.2022 Rain forecast for tomorrow, but theres no way Im missing another week. Cant wait to enjoy the outdoors with you all.

21.01.2022 Good morning! Another drizzly, warm morning. Nell has just let me know that today the coastal park is being used for an indigenous learning day. Violetta is going to the same event on Friday next week and it looks like its pretty large scale. Im sure we can meet and keep out of their way, however I am also open to meeting elsewhere today. ... Im thinking croc park in Saltwater, though am very open to other suggestions.

20.01.2022 Yesterday was windy, but it didnt stop the fun! Made orange peel/clove Christmas decorations (thanks Nell) and a log seesaw

20.01.2022 Yesterday was windy, but it didn’t stop the fun! Made orange peel/clove Christmas decorations (thanks Nell) and a log seesaw

20.01.2022 Welcome back! We’re delighted to say we ventured out last week and the coastal park was as magical as ever, and now we’re finally allowed to meet up again. So we’ll be back there today and each week going forward (unless it’s pouring with rain). Can’t wait to make some new nature memories with you and our wonderful kiddies

19.01.2022 I can feel my Seasonal Affective Disorder evaporating in the warm sun. Well be late, but I cant wait to enjoy this sunny day with you.

19.01.2022 heyo, just sharing this again for anyone who needs it :)

19.01.2022 Many of you know that my family and I are moving to Canberra on December 13th. I know that many of you want to continue with the playgroup and I would be so happy if that happened. I wont ask anyone directly to take over running the group, so if you are interested, or have an idea of how you would like to help in continue let me know!... Often peoples schedules change with each school term, so maybe this is a good opportunity for the day to change or to add a second session- Im particularly thinking of those who have wanted to join and couldnt because of clashes. Im very sad to be leaving you, and have loved this playgroup and really cherish the friendships Ive built - so often these mornings with fresh air, space and an incredible group of understanding and supportive mums have completely turned a difficult day into a wonderful one. Xx

18.01.2022 A fun day this weekend at our home https://connectedtoportphillip.com/festivals/pointcook/

17.01.2022 Hooray! were on our way! see you all soon.

16.01.2022 The reason(s) for nature playgroup.....

13.01.2022 Good Morning, The same kindergarten excursion as last week is running today too, and possibly next week. Alternatives Ive thought of are:... - Meet at the park, and try to avoid the crowds, the beach is big, so this might just involve a bit of a walk - meet at the crocodile park in Saltwater Coast estate. This has lots of fun elements. - Head along to the Wyndham play expo at the Point Cook Community Centre https://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/whats-on/play-expo-0 Im easy

11.01.2022 We wont meet tomorrow. I hope everyone enjoys the extra family time

10.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone...I look forward to a wonderful 2020 and creating more bush memories for our little ones (and ourselves)!

10.01.2022 Hi everyone, and Happy New Year! So, sadly we said farewell to Georgina and fam last year, but were still continuing her legacy and meeting every Tuesday at 10. We hope to see you back in our usual spot (although now with the bench mysteriously relocated onto the beach) and look forward to another year of fun in nature

10.01.2022 Ill be away the weekend this is on, but I know are few here will be interested in this event.

10.01.2022 All reasons to love Nature Playgroup

08.01.2022 This looks like something some of you may be interested in (I know I am!)

07.01.2022 Hello hello! I am in Canberra with my littles, so wont be at playgroup tomorrow. Although were still meeting. Bring along your school kids if theyre around, I love the richness they bring.... The bag will be on the front porch of my house if anyone would like to take it down. Just message me for the address.

05.01.2022 Oh my goodness, will we ever be healthy again!? We will be sitting today out for illness . Have fun and enjoy this wintry morning!

04.01.2022 Good morning, we wont be able to make it today. it looks glorious! Ill leave the bag near the info building and you can take it along with you. The kindergartens have finished their excursions, but their legacy remains. The first thing I noticed last week was how much the extra people brought extra rubbish. If you have it bring along gloves, tongs, bags, buckets and we can do a bit of a clean up along with our play. ... see you all next week!

04.01.2022 Good morning! Once again all my good intentions to bring along some fabulous new resource or activity have got lost in mountains of washing and meltdowns, but we are looking forward to enjoying the outdoors with you today. Lets go and find what the ocean has washed up for us this week. (p.s. I have been reading through this list which has some good, low-key activities and games to engage with the environment, I thought we could try some http://www.natureplaycbr.org.au/activity-finder )

02.01.2022 Hello all! I wonder if I can get a show of hands (or little blue thumbs) who wants to meet tomorrow, Cup Day. I know many of us will have family home, and will want to enjoy the day off together. Im happy to roll with whatever suits the majority best.

02.01.2022 Good Morning :) Well meet at the Werribee Zoo this morning instead. Ill head down to the park to let anyone know who may not see these messages, then meet you all around 10:30/45 A good meeting place could be at the Playground near the Australian Animals.

01.01.2022 Made fun sand castles to jump on yesterday!
