01.01.2022 "What can I expect from Pilates Classes at Point Cook Pilates?" This is a common question we get asked a lot as there are so many types of Pilates classes out there we thought we'd explain what we offer here at Point Cook Pilates Pilates Studio Classes include the use of machines & mat work, the exercises given to each client in every lesson are different & specific for the client. It is in no way a one-exercise movement for all type of class, as this doesn’t enable people t...o take advantage of the power Pilates has to change your body so dramatically. In our classes all clients are given completely different exercises and as the groups are kept to a maximum of four people this enables the instructor to spend the time assisting each person individually. There is a misunderstanding that there will be an instructor out the front of the class teaching everyone the same thing, we believe to really benefit fully from Pilates it must be tailored to the individual and taught by a Certified Instructor as all people are so different physically and require very different exercises to really benefit them. Many people have pathologies, old injuries, are sports people, are pregnant, are post natal, are older etc and Pilates exercises have the diversity to be able to strengthen & lengthen all the many varieties in which the human body presents itself. This is a wonderful thing because no matter where you are in life Pilates will always be an exercise that you can do and it will always be beneficial. www.pointcookpilates.com.au
