22.01.2022 The fishing the last week out here has been great. Guests on guided fishing tours have caught some cracking barra. The lodge has accommodation and camping available for the easter break if you want to fish Shady camp.



21.01.2022 Our Accommodation and campground is open. Lodge or standard A/C rooms are still available. Unfortunately the saloon bar and bistro is closed so no meals are available.We have BBQ areas and the camp kitchen for self catering. Shady Camp is open for fishing.Please call 89788914. Please remember government regulations and restrictions in regards to the current crisis.

13.01.2022 The boys from Broken hill got stuck into some good barra this week fishing over 4 days with Guide Dan.

13.01.2022 The new guest camp kitchen is now finished. Its close to the powered and unpowered campsites. You can now relax and cook insect free.

11.01.2022 We are open. Accommodation, bar , bistro, and guided fishing tours. Guests today caught this 98cm barra. The Shady camp boat ramp is now good to launch boats at low tide. Plenty of water has arrived at the barrage over the last couple of days. See you here.

07.01.2022 We spent the day filming a wildlife series for discovery channel today. Interesting to say the least.

07.01.2022 A recent 1 day Wetland Wonder tour from the lodge which showcases the amazing local wildlife. Guests came away with some fantastic photos too.

05.01.2022 Jason Tait and crew had a cracking day fishing with Dan yesterday on a tour from tbe lodge.

02.01.2022 Were now closed for the season today. After the break we will reopen again in mid Feb 2020. Reservations are still open so send us an email to book your adventure in 2020. Lets hope for a big wet season and lots of big barra.



02.01.2022 There is a variety of tours running daily at the moment. Perfect weather too. What a great time to experience the beautiful Mary River Wetlands and the Mary River National Park.
