23.01.2022 "We are reaching out for your help for our : Empowerment and support services for communities experiencing prejudice-motivated harassment and abuse. The project is conducted by Victoria University in partnership with Wyndham City Council." This project strongly relies on the active participation and input from Wyndham’s diverse communities. Insights from local communities and networks will help us understand how support services and reporting options can be improved for peopl...e who have experienced prejudice, racism and/or Islamophobia. To help gather input, researchers have created a brief online questionnaire (10-15 minutes) which hopefully can be shared with as many people as possible. More specifically, this questionnaire is for people who are 18 years of age or older, live (or spend a significant amount of time) in Wyndham, and who belong to a culturally, ethnically or religiously diverse community. Participation is entirely anonymous and confidential. You can help, in two important ways: 1. Completing the Questionnaire We kindly invite to you to please complete a short questionnaire online. This questionnaire is entirely anonymous and confidential. It should not take more than 10-15 minutes of your time and can be accessed here. https://vuau.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4VihdsO9nRCLCQJ 2. Sharing the Questionnaire with your community

17.01.2022 Grant clarification from the Point Cook Action Group: The PCAG team can assure the community that grants awarded for the Pop-up Park initiative have been subjected to a very rigorous independent selection process. This applies to grants from Council, Pick My Project initiative and the Myer Foundation. These grants were used to support the Pop-up Park project one of the most popular and successful projects in Wyndham which have made an outstanding contribution to building capacity and community cohesion. This project was auspiced by PCAG in the first and second year and lead by CoLocal in year 3. A summary of the highly successful Pop-up Park project is available on the link: https://colocal.com.au/public/pages/point-cook-pop-up-park.
