22.01.2022 For those unsure on if you can or can not fly at the moment, here is some clarity on recreational flying provided by DHS

19.01.2022 Members, From Saturday 16th May Point Cook Flying Club will resume flying operations. Please see below article for more information and measures we have put in place to ensure the protection and safety of all members.

19.01.2022 FLYING OPS POINT COOK FLYING CLUB Dear Members, With the current COVID-19 situation impacting the globe, and in order to remain aligned with the Australian Government Department of Health advice, with immediate effect operations at Point Cook Flying Club will cease.... This was a decision that was not taken lightly, and we consulted extensively to ascertain if it was possible to continue operating noting all of the mitigations we had previously put in place. Unfortunately today, Business Victoria advised that as a club providing hire of aircraft for recreational purposes, we were deemed non-essential and therefore could not continue to operate. We are committed to ensuring our club members remain safe during this period and will closely monitor the Department of Health advice in order to ascertain when we are able to resume normal operations. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and will keep you informed as soon as the club is able to return to normal operations. Stay safe, and look forward to seeing you at the club in the future, Peter Tippner President Point Cook Flying Club

18.01.2022 Aircraft available off base to hire. Any hire is to be inline with current government restrictions. Details in link.

08.01.2022 A great write up by PCFC member, Philip. A great read and already adding it to the trip list post COVID. Thanks Philip for sharing your adventure!

08.01.2022 Great insight to the infamous Checker Board approach at Kai Tak. Interestingly enough the airfield started with a Flying Club and Military presence. I'm sure we would have a few members quite familiar with the run in. Enjoy the read

07.01.2022 Check out the latest update from our Treasurer. Hope you are all staying safe.

07.01.2022 While social events may be off the cards for the time being, the club is considering hosting a series of virtual sessions for members - starting this Friday at 7.30pm with our inaugural Virtual Pub Night!
