24.01.2022 This keen lawn bowler recently celebrated a Birthday so his son commissioned me to do his caricature. Apparently the birthday boy brews his own and rides his electric bike to the bowls club. He's also a wizard woodworker at the Men's shed and was a good golfer in his younger days.
23.01.2022 This "just turned 18" young woman loves fashion, and has her sights set on a career in interior design and decorating. For now she's happy zooming around in her little yellow car and spending her spare time relaxing and fishing at her favourite beach, apparently (according to her Father) with any flavour cruiser in hand. #18thbirthday #caricature #fishing #vodkacruiser #woodgate
22.01.2022 This young bloke's Mum commissioned his caricature as a Christmas gift. He is living his dream way up north in Bamaga, fishing, 4WDing, and camping. Steve the dog is his constant companion.
21.01.2022 Here's a caricature that was a lot of fun to do. This pizza loving, iron pumping Principal recently celebrated a Birthday. He still drives his 'old school' BMW to school, and when not working hits the beach or the golf course and then relaxes with his favourite beer and his guitar. I'm not sure of the relevance of the bee hive but it was a 'must have' in the drawing.
21.01.2022 It's not often I am asked to draw the same person in two different caricatures around the same time. This lucky bloke received his caricature as a Birthday gift around the same time that he commissioned me to do a family caricature as a Mother's Day gift. 20.01.2022 There's too much going on in this 21st Birthday caricature to bother explaining. Suffice it to say everything in the drawing relates to something that has happened in the Birthday girl's life, and fortunately for me the feedback that I got was that she loved it.
19.01.2022 Surfers from Bundy/Bargara/Port Macquarie might recognise this plumber who just finished a round Australia trip with his girlfriend. One of his mates commissioned the caricature as a gift. What a good mate!
16.01.2022 One of this schoolteacher's friends surprised her with this caricature for her 30th Birthday. I was asked to include lots of tupperware and Dented Diva earrings in the drawing because apparently this teacher has an excess of both.....and a bottle of Gordon's Pink Gin.
16.01.2022 Fords, a Kenworth and a Harley. It's a reasonable presumption that this truckie has his preferred brand of motoring machinery be it with two, four or multiple wheels.. He also enjoys an occasional dark and stormy, and his staffies are very important to him.
15.01.2022 This semi-retired school teacher received this caricature from his family as a surprise gift to reflect his many years of teaching. There are plenty of elements in this drawing that he, his family, his students and teaching colleagues will relate to.
15.01.2022 This passionate All Blacks supporter recently clocked up 70 years at his home on the south island of the Shaky Isles. He's accustomed to spending time flying in choppers around the amazing mountains of Milford Sound for work and also just for fun. According to his daughter, who commissioned the drawing, he eats copious quantities of ice cream and has had a vested interest in trotters and pacers. Family and friends will relate to the spider on his shoulder.
12.01.2022 This bloke recently turned 50 so his sister-in-law thought a caricature would be a good gift. Fortunately for me it was well received. He has played plenty of rugby league and soccer and now enjoys chasing a Mangrove Jack and/or playing golf with a CC in hand. His pet rotty was a must have in the drawing and the harness relates to the fact that he is (apparently) scared of heights even though it relates to his current occupation as a Safety Trainer.
11.01.2022 Tasmania has been one of my favourite places to visit, and this Harley riding, Buick driving, 8 Ball Champion is lucky enough to live there. His daughter commissioned me to do this caricature as an early Father's Day gift for a bloke she describes as a "super down to earth hardworking Tassie man."
10.01.2022 This Brisbane Lions supporter just hit the big SIX ZERO so one of his mates commissioned this caricature as a gift. I'm told he's a passionate ski racer and doesn't mind a spot of feeding fish and quenching his thirst with a XXXX or four.
10.01.2022 This fanatical fisherman's Mum-In-Law commissioned this caricature as a 30th Birthday bonus for him. Special edition Bundy Rum, his favourite beer, his boat and his two boys were all essential elements for the drawing, as was a Maroon jersey and his favourite Massey tractor.
08.01.2022 Now here's a caricature that was a bit of fun to do. This Sith Lords Lover has a Passion for Prince, a Fancy for Flowers and vege gardening, a Bent for Bundy Rum and Bull mastiffs, and Quite a Quota of Qualifications.
08.01.2022 This cricket loving retired dairy farmer just entered the 80+ zone. He has dedicated a lot of years to the volunteer firies and has been rightfully acknowledged for his service. 07.01.2022 This is one of several Father's Day caricatures I had the pleasure of doing over the last few weeks. I think this one is self explanatory. This Dad enjoys racing his car and drinking Bundy Rum.....probably not at the same time.
07.01.2022 This Ulladulla tragic played quite a few quality games of Rugby League in butcher's stripes. If he can't be found SUPPING or surfing somewhere in the vicinity of Bargara, he's probably cruising around on the high seas with his lovely wife. Rumour is that there's a resident old turtle at Bargara wearing a set of this bloke's false teeth that he lost whilst surfing there many years ago. His mates organised the presentation of the caricature over a coffee at the Bundy SLSC.
06.01.2022 This born and bred Mt Isa bloke loves to get out and about on his motor bike. Fishing, crabbing camping and canoeing are also big on his list and just for more fun he likes to do some welding. His dog passed away some time ago but was a priority for inclusion in the drawing. Oh...I almost forgot that he has impeccable taste in whisky
05.01.2022 This septuagenarian Raiders fan received this caricature as a gift from his daughter for his Birthday. As you can see by the drawing, he enjoys a drop of Wild Turkey, a spot of golf, reading Qld Country Life and listening to Macca on Sunday....when he's not laying bricks. I'm not 100% sure of the relevance of the bull, but one had to be included in the drawing.
05.01.2022 This septuagenarian loves marmalade and vegemite together on toast for breakfast. His recently restored John Deere is his prized possession, and wherever he goes, so do his dogs. He's an active member of his local Rotary club and back in the day played some polocrosse.
05.01.2022 This octogenarian started his working life at 14 cutting sugar cane. How many 14 year olds would do that now?? After those early years of hard yakka and 30 years of driving harvesters he deserves to be able to enjoy fishing, prawning and crabbing....a cold XXXX or two and supporting his North Qld Cowboys.
04.01.2022 Caricatures can sometimes be multi-purpose. Most often I am asked to create them as a gift for someone, but it's not uncommon for businesspeople to use them as part of their overall marketing strategy. This Managing Director will be able to use these images across various media to promote his business. His image will remain consistent, but the associated backgrounds and tractors will change according to his requirements at the time....and they're good fun to do!
04.01.2022 This Frequent Flying Farmer recently Signed off on the big Six Zero and he probably got a little Festive on the Four X. His Favourite Falcon wouldn't have been Far away and there's a good chance his Fone would have been ringing. His Deere that he holds Dear wouldn't have been too Distant and neither would his Toyota that he Treasures.

03.01.2022 When this bloke's not bobbing around on his bobcat he'll probably be racing on a river. Afterwards he'll probably indulge in a drop of his favourite cool beverage with Willow his pet dog beside him. He's only just clicked over the big 30 so there should be plenty of professional ski racing left in him yet.

This keen fisherman, crabber and woodworker also spends his time keeping a popular tourist steam train on the rails. He's a Blues fanatic who hails from cockroach land but now lives in canetoad land. Touch football now takes up every spare minute of his time, playing, coaching and refereeing.
