With lessons at Point Piano Music Studio, you can learn not only how to follow traditional music notation but also how to play chords and read a lead sheet, enabling you to play for yourself, the music that you have always enjoyed.

Music skills that you or your child will learn include: * playing piano... * playing by memory * reading music notation * playing by ear * playing with chords and a lead sheet * improvising and creating your own music And have a whole lot of fun doing it!

17.01.2022 There are so many benefits to playing a musical instrument, including stress relief, increasing happiness, improving both cognitive and muscle memory and improving your brain's ability to process many things at once. While it is highly beneficial for children to learn a musical instrument, it is never to late to take the first step towards making music an important and rewarding component of your daily life. Point Piano Music Studio now offers a "Recreational Music Making" pr...ogram, geared towards adults with little or no formal musical training. The program can be delivered either individually or in small groups of up to 3, with a focus on the wellbeing benefits of music on top of piano/keyboard technique. Components of the program include: * Musical Wellness exercises (breathing and stretching exercises with music) * Reading and interpreting the language of music notation * Improvising and creating your own music * Performing a large repertoire of music in a variety of styles. Most of these pieces can be rehearsed at home with fully orchestrated and engaging backing tracks. 12.01.2022 Enrol your child today in my innovative "No Book Beginners" course. Suitable for children aged 4 and up, this highly creative series of lessons will have your child playing and creating their own music from Day 1, without even opening a tutor book. The program runs for approximately 10 lessons, depending on individual progress and includes activities such as improvisation, exploring sound, singing, movement, rhythm games and learning about the basic concepts of music through... performance. This course is an ideal introduction to any child's musical journey and will equip them with skills and creative understanding which will greatly benefit them in further piano studies. They will also have developed an instant love for the piano and for music in general. I strongly believe that all children are innately musical and teaching young children to explore their natural sense of creativity at an early age will set them up for musical success right through life!
