20.01.2022 We have been advised by the Water Corp that their contractor will be installing 3 new fire hydrants in Point Samson. The work is scheduled to begin late this week and will take a few days to complete. Hydrants will be installed in the following locations: 288 Honeymood Rd 28 Vitensbergs Dr Honeymoon Rd... Please note, we are passing on the information provided to us by the Water Corp, and understand that properties adjacent to works have been notified. A pow...er outage will be required for the town of Point Samson between these hours in order for the crew to safely complete this work. 14.01.2022 On the 14th of September, the City will commence beach maintenance works at the Point Samson foreshore. These works will include fencing upgrade on the beachfront, clearing of sand from pathways/drains/the boardwalk, a beach clean-up and general tidy up. Efforts will be made to maintain pedestrian access and beach access, however minor disruptions may occur in the interest of pedestrian and beach goer safety.

02.01.2022 BARKER TERRACE CAR PARK - ROAD CLOSURE Please be advised that Barker Terrace will be closed for a community event on Sunday the 18th October 2020. It will be closed from the early hours on the 18th October through to approx. 11:00 AM. Pedestrians and cyclists will still have access via the footpaths. Should Emergency Access be required, the PSCA Event Marshall's may assist in gaining entry, if safe to do so.
